Playing chicken with uh he makes it tough you know um you know obviously he’s capable of doing everything offensively you know he can score whenever he wants to but you know he’s so great just CU he he makes everyone else on the floor better and

And you know he can get get the ball to them whenever however he wants uh the two times you been played him you guys have tried to force him into more of a scoring row um just how do you feel like that’s kind of worked in the two games I

Mean he he’s obviously completely capable of that you know the the the part where we’ve been great is you know it’s not one person’s job we we’ve been great at uh having all five uh Hest string having each other’s back uh helper helping the helper helping the helper and scrambling you know just

Really doing a great job at that year largely kind of in like a Roman role um what was it like for you to have him kind of have your back again tonight in that same yeah we we both have that absolute complete trust in each other you know and I mean that goes

For every guy on this team but you know y I’ve obviously played together so long that uh that we we realize and trust and know that that we’re going to be there for each other you mention the being on a stream and you had talked about that

The last game also um is that is that your calls is that your your teammates sort of realizing kind of when to kind of flash over there and to show that help I guess CU it it seemed like it was varied at times yeah it is you know uh

The most important thing is you know obviously doing stuff in our system uh and you know hopefully we’re mostly doing stuff in our system uh but if we go Rogue or if we see something regardless either way you know as long as we’re being vocal let

Everyone knows so we can move is one okay you mentioned some some of that little stuff like being vocal deflections I guess you guys kind of had some weird games in the stretch with guys like but are you seeing those like improvements maybe we we’ve seen the

Improvements you know uh you know all throughout the road trip uh you know since Doc’s been here what he’s been preaching everything like that we’ve been improving those areas uh regardless of the outcome you know obviously guys have been out there’s no excuse anything like that but we’ve seen great

Improvement great strides in those areas that he’s emphasized that we need to be better you know it hasn’t translated to winds but it’s going to you know we’re going to keep building it’s going to keep going to contest it feels like Doc talks a lot about getting over screens is it just

Different terminology or because it feels like a similar emphasis and just what have you seen from guys being able to get over screens they they’ve been great you know they they’ve had a a mindset of you know that’s what they guide do to to help the team to help us

All be successful and you know we we’ve been great at it we’re going to continue to get better at it but but the the mentality has been just right just perfect you mentioned that ni can score um what what the discipline on your end especially on the the three-point line

Where to not leave your feet obviously if you do that he gets that little half beat right yeah so how important was that also to maybe keep him from I it’s just so tough because obviously he’s a great shooter from from out there too so

It’s it’s a it’s a feel thing but then trusting you know when he’s getting those picks from the guards or whoever else that my guy’s going to be out there giving a good hedge giv me that time to get under over the screen whatever it is

And get back to him and just kind of play in the game you know it’s obviously not just myself I mean I know I was kind of joking but like you’re competitive dude like it’s got to be fun it is no absolutely yeah it is it is fun you know

That’s I mean that’s that’s why we play right that’s why I play so night like tonight absolutely fun going back to getting over our screens you’re obviously not a guard but how much of that is like technique versus just being locked in and intensity wise there’s definite technique you have to learn you

Know obviously uh you know to play at this level and as talented as the guys are at this level but uh so much of that is to like you mention mentality effort intensity and just a desire to get through as well
