I get the personal stuff and am sympathetic to it, I truly am. That being said, Dame has been given A LOT of grace that I’ve never seen an elite superstar receive ever. He is labeled as a top 75 player of all time and if we’re going by that scale, his play has been a massive disappointment.

The scheme is no longer a problem. The coach (for now) is no longer a problem. He has a top 3 player in the world running next to him and his offense appears to be getting worse. His January stats are beyond terrible for a player judged on his scale. 40% field goal percentage, 29% from 3. That’s not getting it done with below average defense.

It really is as simple as this: The Bucks are a contender if Dame shows up. The problem is he rarely has this year. I’m not trying to be negative towards the guy, but deep down everyone who watches this team has to be wondering…..When does the real Dame Time begin?

  2. Competitive_Quiet179

This team goes as Dame goes, if he continues playing like this into the playoffs we have zero chance at winning a title

Also they gotta avoid Miami at all cost, idc what you gotta do, tank games, win games, I just don’t wanna see em

  3. Blackmalico32

I hope we come out of All Star break with Green, Marjon and AJJ getting more minutes

  4. Mustard_Jam

People that said Lillard is going to turn the corner in 2024 were right. He turned it in the wrong direction but you know…close enough

  5. Superflissbro

I hate the Heat, this game sucked, we played terrible tonight, Giannis is the best player in the NBA, that’s all see ya friday

  6. Miami were hot from three and our defense didn’t adjust, we are back to being the worst team in the NBA. Credit to Miami though they made it impossible for Giannis to score at all and we just weren’t knocking down enough shots to keep them honest and not sell on our shooters.

  7. Our-Gardian-Angel

I’m excited to see if Dame makes his Bucks debut after the All-Star break

  8. WizardRiver

Is the post game team huddle at mid court a regular thing for the Bucks? I’ve never noticed a team do that.

  9. x2sudemir

I’m checked out atp. If dame shows up, we will make a deep run, if not, we won’t. But watching basketball this bad when our ceiling is so high is mentally taxing

  10. What the new dame excuse now? It’s 2024, what else does he need

  11. DameWasistlos

Cut Pat and elevate a G leaguer.
He wouldnt be nothing more then an end of the bench placeholder on ANY other NBA team.

  12. x2sudemir

Shoutout to Bobby, Andre, and Thanasis for being the only players without a TO

  13. ImpossibleSelection5

How in the fucking hell can the refs determine that Kevin Love had possession on that challenge??? He pushed the ball in front of him and then slammed his shoulder into PC. Ultimately it didn’t make a difference because the Bucks were doody tonight but still it’s painful seeing him seeing him so jacked

Well it was fun pretending like we were a contender for a day. It was alarming how many people thought doc rivers came in here and changed the defense in 1 week. It’s still a very bad defensive team, They just got lucky with some matchups against G league teams and a Nuggets team that was entirely disinterested in playing basketball.

This is just a poorly constructed roster, the front office knows that which is why they punted on the trade deadline. They hopefully fix it in the offseason. I will be shocked if this team wins a playoff series.

Guys I really just think this team is old and slow. They just don’t have the energy like other good teams, if they get out worked then it blows up in our face. Talent doesn’t beat effort sadly. They haven’t proven that they can keep up the energy to beat teams they should be beating.

  16. If we don’t get our shit together after the All Star break and start showing some consistency then I’m joining the doomers.

  17. TechnicalSample4678

What an embarrassing display. People were starting to give us props slowly and we put on this shit show

  18. ForeverDenGal

Firing a championship coach Bud who had most success with the roster might not have been the move, you can find negatives in all coaches but he wasn’t as bad as fans said.

  19. Puzzled_Ad7955

PC has been getting way too many minutes. Played half the game again. O pts, 3 asst.

  20. TurbulentBoard2418

Drob, Love and the other guy shot 6/8 from 3 . No surprise.

Hopefully we wont play them on the 1st round

  21. Dame playing well would NOT have won us this game. We were ass on many fronts, both sides of the ball.

    – Giannis turned the ball over 5 times
    – Giannis 0 FT attempted, first time in over 1 year
    – Allowed 19 3PT
    – Brook was 1/6 from deep
    – AJG was 1/6 from deep
    – Doc played Pat C over AJJ
    – MIA +9 REB
    – MIA +12 points in the paint
    – MIA +19 points off TOs
    – And yes, Dame shot 5/14 and had 3 TO

I agree that patience is thin for Dame to figure it out, but to cite his mediocre performance as the difference-maker tonight is off-base.

    We stunk. Onto the next.
