The Dallas Mavericks win their sixth straight game as they defeat the San Antonio Spurs, 116-93. Kyrie Irving recorded 34 points (15-22 FG, 4-9 3pt. FG), 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the Mavericks, while Luka Doncic added 27 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists in the victory. Victor Wembanyama tallied 26 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks for the Spurs in the losing effort. The Mavericks improve to 32-23 on the season, while the Spurs fall to 11-44.

    Wemby was really on fire 1st quarter. It was too much for Gafford to handle. Than Kyrie said I think I warmed up enough, time to post up Wemby and get him tired. 😂😎

    Kyrie played on a level that’s insane. His ability to improvise is unparalleled. His offense AND defense against Wemby was beyond insane. The Mavs really scored huge when the signed Uncle Drew.

    You can see the extra effort Gafford makes to set himself up for offensive rebounds. More defensive highlights on these videos would be appreciated.

    Just think how lively and gafford side affects the game the days of us watching Powell vs top centers is over lol pj can play 3 n 4 him and maxi paired with Derek or Daniel is crazy defense and just think we STILL got exum on the way back!! I’m looking forward to watching us carry this momentum into offs and make a deep run hopefully!!

    Wemby cooked in the first half but the Mavs realized no one else can hit a 3 and packed the paint on him. We need to get rid of this bum Collins and get some dudes who can atleast make 3s on an NBA level.

    For the Mavs, this is the best time to make that playoff push with good defenders and 2 of the greatest scorers. They bout to make some noise in the playoffs

    The Mavs are equally as good as the Spurs are azz. SA is lucky to have Wemby and they better hope to get a good draft pick or trade next yr otherwise they still gone suck.

    What the Hell is T-H-I-S? Does anyone play defense anymore?? Hmm-m-m???

    Man.

    They just walk, travel, take 3 or 4 steps then Bunny hop and they call it "Euro-step" and shoot while the defender just stands there. Where are the screens? The offensive sets, scripted plays and/or inside cutters?? It's the opposite of team play with an emphasis on individual play.

    I haven't watched an NBA game in years but T-H-I-S is entertainment N-O-T competitive basketball.

    Comparing this with what was played in the 80's and 90's is like comparing WWE wrestling with Olympic wrestling.

    One is acting. The other is the real deal. The 2023 NBA champs would be swept by the Larry Bird Celtics of the 80's, the Kareem/Magic Lakers, the Bad-boy Pistons and the Jordan/Pippin Bulls.

    This is not competitive basketball. It's entertainment.

    I love the addition of Gafford and PJ Washington. I have always liked these two. Great chemistry between these players when they are on the court together. But, I can't help but to keep rooting for Tim Hardaway Jr. I'd love to see him rain threes on their opponents throughout the season and the playoffs, and keep playing good basketball.
