Uh GG two-part question one just uh I guess what was your um reaction your mentality after you got the one game suspension take us through that process and then two uh how important was it for you to kind of come back and respond today um no I don’t

Want to use my age as an excuse but you know you make mistakes here and there and uh you know it’s on you to learn from them and uh you know the coach staff they expressed to me how like they know I’m better than that and uh they

Know I’m going to continue to get better and uh you know they told me to get ready for Wednesday game so uh kind of got an extra day to prep so I just made sure you know my shot feel good got in the gym make sure you know in the cold

To taking care of my body and stuff what’s it like to play against Dylan um it’s experience uh he’s he’s he’s a weird player he he it’ll look like he’ll take a play off on defense but he’s really like wanting you to do exactly what like a basketball player is supposed to do

Like he’ll open up and like let you drive and then like just just do some Veterinary stuff to make you lose the ball or like block his shot or bump you or something but you know it was cool I asked them for a follow uh on Instagram

At the freeon line uh you know he ignored me a little bit but uh I’mma text him on Instagram try to get that follow you liking this this role you’re playing now kind of becoming like that you know energy score Off the Bench in a way is

How how you liking that um I feel like it’s paying off so you know whatever the coaching staff have me uh you know I’m willing to put in the work but you know I feel like I don’t want you know nothing’s perfect but this is pretty

Close to it like this role I feel like I I fit it perfectly and uh you know when I show effort on defense I feel like I bring energy uh for everybody in the game how do it feel to finally snap the losing streak get back on the winning

Track um definitely feels good uh you know NBA players or any athletes really hate to lose um you know coach was expressing uh expressing us throughout each one of those loss you know you got to get on to the next one cuz uh it’s 82 Game season anything can happen but uh

You know you don’t want to let it get away from you too much but uh you know we had to really it back in and get down to our principles and uh luckily paid off I’m sure you know this but Dylan before you and Vince was the wing probably the

Main guy on the wing for the Grizzlies do you feel like you can be a long-term answer is that a goal of yours to be the long-term answer for this franchise on the wing uh you know they’ve putting the the time and and trust in me and uh you

Know I’ve repay them with my work ethic and my performances on the court and stuff but um you know if God has it in my plan you know I I love it here it’s not too big of a City not too smalls so I get to you know strictly focus on

Basketball and uh you know that’s a blessing in of itself you know I can stay out of trouble and different things like that but uh I feel like if I continue on this path I definitely can be long term for sure I guess what would you say you know

Through through all the adversity you’ve had this season you know the fines the suspension what’s been the main thing that you’ve learned as you kind of continue to grow into you know like you say being a professional and NBA player uh you know it’s kind of like a Miss

Shot you know you just you got to shoot the next one you got to get on to the next one and uh you know luckily in this locker room we have a lot of a lot of good locker room guys you know Derek Rose uh J jiren uh Dez is you know super

Cool you know I feel like that’s the captain of the team and different things like that so when you have those guys around you uh they’re going to hold you accountable for your mistakes uh like I said previously it’s going to be on you to you know if you going to keep making
