Seen a few very impressive stats about Scottie Barnes heading into the All Star break.
• Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors •
1. • Leads the league in total miles traveled (147.7).
Finally some data too back the fact that SB quite literally does everything on both sides of court. The amount of times I’ve Personally made that exact comment and have also seen the same comment by many others.. our eyes are NOT playing games/tricks on us. Our all star is a damn MACHINE on the court lol! We have an absolute UNIT of a player on our hands raptors fans. That answers the popular “SB looks gased out there tonight” yea 147.7 MILES! Unreal.
2) • Has averaged 37.7 points + rebounds + assists + steals + blocks per 36 minutes, up from 29.7 per 36 last season. That’s the biggest jump among 269 players who’ve played at least 500 minutes in each of the last two seasons.
Now that’s impressive to say the least.. the biggest jump in the ENTIRE league. We have one of, if not the best rising all around player in the entire league! Who’s only in his 3rd year too boot. We have a special player blossoming before us. Wow
3) • Has scored just 0.71 points per possession on isolations, according to Synergy tracking, the lowest mark among 50 players with at least 75 isolation possessions.
Saved the worst for last, more so shocked at this one since it always seems like Scottie cooks one on one.. but I believe his forte for iso scoring is most definitely in the paint. Im not too concerned about this one; as we seen last night against the Pacers SB went into his bag to exploit those 1on1 isos which he rarely does to that degree. We know the offensive bag is there, he’s got a wide range of variety when it comes to how he can score.. it just needs some polishing.

Be great 4!
Can’t blame him for the Isolation stat, as Darkos system is literally the opposite of isolation scoring.
Impressed with the miles travelled. Thought guys like Curry would dominate in that stats since he’s constantly moving.
For his ISO scoring, he just needs to have a bigger bag on offense. He needs to develop his killer moves. That’s what distinguishes superstars and good players. To be a super star, you basically need to be unguardable one on one. You look at Luka, Shai, Embiid, Giannis. There is a lot of work left to do for Scottie to reach that level and it would require insane amount of work. We shall wait and see.
Huh, leads league in miles traveled. But people on this sub told me he doesn’t give enough effort.
