What happened to us?

Do we forget what we came from? Is it just band wagons? Do we remember why it’s Bucks in 6? We are acting like Lakers fans in here man.

    Happiness = reality – expectations

This team sucks ass to watch. Very simple

Yea I suppose we should just go back to the days of expecting to suck every year and being happy with a 6th seed and a competitive 1st round playoff series. It’s easier that way and much less stressful. That is where we came from and I would like to go back to that.

Fucking hate how being a truther is suddenly being a bandwagon like stfu

  4. Ecruteak-vagrant

The team isn’t fun to watch, and is failing to meet expectations. That’s the harsh reality. The only way this season will be looked at favorably is if they win a ring. Otherwise it’s a disaster

I just wish we had a young and exciting team around Giannis. This team isn’t quick or athletic enough to go very far this April

As Mr. Rodgers said y’all need to relax.

The arena got built so the brass in happy

  8. I guarantee there are like 50,000+ subscribers to this subreddit who don’t even know why that 24-1 shirt is awesome (or which team it’s referring to). There’s probably about that same amount who don’t know where/how long ago/why Bucks in 6 started.

This sub blew up *after* the Bucks became good. We were already on the upswing when stuff like Aqua Dagger became a thing. This sub had <10k subscribers for most of Flatass’s career.

These kids nowadays didn’t live through the struggle. Some of us still remember the suicide bus.

I mean yeah we are under performing right now but anything’s possible with this team. Who’s to say they don’t turn things around as a low playoff seed and make a run?

Goal here is to make the playoffs and get scrappy. Who cares if we are the best team in the league during the regular season.

Worked out well for us last season right?…

I’m not going to criticize OP, and I do believe that everyone has a right to post their feelings on the Bucks. Including those I disagree with. I guess as one of the folks some would classify as a doomer, what bothers me is watching a team with so much talent absolutely cave in all at once, like a dying star that has now become a black hole. We all sort of knew that the team was becoming old, slow and expensive. Any Packers fans will know what I’m talking about. The situation was becoming untenable. I think most of us hoped the Dame trade would be a cure all. That it would work a miracle. Instead, the opposite has happened. As of now, it seems to have hastened the Bucks downfall. I’m not saying it’s over, But it looks fucking dire to me. What I take umbrage with is being lumped into a bandwagon fan or a doomer, because I’m acknowledging what my eyes see. I’ve been a bucks fan for four decades. Seen everything from great to abysmal. And I’ll always be a Bucks fan. The worst part is that Giannis is playing the best basketball in career that is the best I ever except to see, and the team can’t support it. He looked like the only guy with a pulse last night. It feels like he’s being squandered and maybe there is nothing to be done anymore

It’s a mixture of having super high expectations and absolutely failing to be anywhere close to meeting them. This team has no identity, is full of mistakes and players worthy of dialogue around them, and is flat out underperforming. Half of the only players I enjoy watching don’t even play. Only person on the court who gives a fuck about the team seems like Giannis and Pat Bev who got here a fucking week ago

Stop telling fans how to fan. Loser behavior

Especially if you’re comparing us when the 24-1 game happened I mean it’s as simple as the bucks were a plucky young upstart team with little expectations then, while now they are an aging team that will fail to meet our expectations by doing any worse than winning the championship. It’s a lot less fun to follow a team when you’re constantly worried they’re going to fall short of astronomical expectations as opposed to being able to just enjoy the good play without holding them to massively high standards.

A related phenomenon is how this season was the most fun I’ve had watching the packers in probably a decade or better

Funny that last years when the team was rolling people like to say the season doesn’t matter, do it in playoffs. Then when the team isn’t rolling and experiences in-season turmoil, it’s as if this is somehow more important than what happens in May.

Would people prefer last year (out in round1 after dominating regular season) or be a 3-4 seed that makes the ECF and loses to Boston? To me, that would make this season more successful. I get the season is long but we all know they’ll be in the playoffs. They need time with a new coach, again, and to get the top players healthy and playing well.
