By this metric, the looks he is creating for his teammates are far better than Jokic’s. Just something interesting to note about the MVP race.
Pretty impressive for not being a point guard.

If Giannis had Jokic’s teammates I can guarantee you he will average the same amount of assists if not better than Jokic, the nuggets surrounded Jokic with perfect balance of youth, shooting and athleticism. The amount of times Gianni’s has created open looks for his teammates and them not hitting it is a headache.
As much as last nights game sucked, Giannis’ passing was on fire.
bucks need to trade one of middleton/brook/dame this offseason and get a 2nd best player that’s younger than giannis (mikal bridges, dejounte murray, donovan mitchell) or we need to load up the trade machine for some OKC trades for giannis within the next year
I mean lets be real here, even if we somehow win a ring within the next 2 years of this dame experiment, brook is gonna be 37, middleton is gonna be 34, dame is gonna be 35 while giannis is 31. I can 100% see giannis leaving even if we win a ring to go team up with luka or jokic to create a dynasty and get one last big payday contract if we don’t really give him an incentive to stay after all our core becomes 34+
I’d like to see a breakdown of where these potential assists are coming from. By my eye Giannis’ assists/potential assists mostly drive and kick out to 3 point shooters or post up and pass out to the 3 point line when he gets doubled. Jokic is posted up either down low or up high hitting cutters at the rim as much as passing out for 3’s.
