How many podcasts did this man do today what on earth

  2. BabaBrody

I thought this was going to be a code-switching thing, but he just straight up sounds like he’s doing a character for random parts of sentences.

  3. applesaaucee

Nah wtf, it actually sounds like 2 different people speaking.

  4. Poopypantszs

This happens to me consistently. I think I remember hearing somewhere about it being correlated with being neurodivergent but I could just be spreading misinformation

  5. devonondrugs

I was listening to this today on a drive and couldn’t stop but think he had one of his boys stepping in and talking over him when he was half way through a sentence till Pat brought it up. Thought I was losing my mind

  6. Yo the transition from raspy to clear voice is so noticeable wtf bro fr has 2 voices

  7. Yo. He gotta be fucking with us right? This isn’t even code switching. Straight up different person

  8. Baby_Yod4

I noticed this in the JJ pod. I just feel like his voice is worn out from yelling as a point guard

  9. SerialRapper

There’s no way he’s not doing that on purpose. The deep voice is not his real voice

  10. I was watching/listening to this live on my ipad while i was playing PS5… I thought someone cut the dude off mid sentence.

  11. Malemansam

Holy shit its oscillating in like 3 second waves. Never ever heard anything like that with someone’s voice, literally like someone’s turning the mids up and down on an amplifier.

  12. tha_rodge

It’s like when you start talking but you got a bubble in your throat.

  13. TraySplash21

I think he is just making his voice deeper and then occasionally his actual voice comes out

  14. PSLFredux

Probably vocal strain from on the court yelling and directing.

But if you notice a voice change or something like this, time to visit your doc. Better be safe than sorry.

  15. NoBook9868

He should be a voice actor in anime after he retires

  16. Yroftheprtycrshr420

I was listening in the car and I’m like “did he bring someone with him?”

  17. Miserable_Ride666

I think his voice is that raspy from playing that it’s breaking

  18. This is super bizarre if natural, I have never heard someone do this before. It’s like he turns half Embiid for a few seconds every so often.

  19. Early-Pie4875

Almost sound like a cross between Joel Embid and Steve Urkle

  20. executivesphere

Definitely noticed it on n JJ’s recent pod. I’ll have to go back to an older podcast and see if it’s the same. I don’t remember him having this before

  21. leagueofcipher

Sounds like he’s stifling a yawn and talking through it half the time

  22. Matias9991

I know a woman that does the same thing, her voice changes completely at random, it’s Soo weird

  23. This happens to me from acid reflux congestion.

    The pre-throat clear voice.

  24. norcaltobos

I do this all the time too, I hardly talk in the same voice consistently. It’s all about putting emphasis in the right places.

  25. trumpsplug

he needs to clean his ears and/or sinuses out. or he has autism

  26. testiclefrankfurter

Ok he said the word “necessarily” in two different voices wtf

  27. AngryTurtleGaming

Bro absorbed a twin and that’s its vocal chords

  28. Do_You_Even_Repost

when i watch his jersey collection video, I noticed his switch – and that was the first time i had heard him speak ever

  29. khotaykinasal

It’s 100% saliva. His mouth gets really wet and then his voice goes deep and then it’s just gone. I had similar thing growing up until I got braces and it’s pretty much gone.

Host said some absolute nonsense with the Drake thing but yeah this is nuts.
