This is the END for Trae Young…

This is the END for Trae Young…

Yo what’s going on y’all it’s con back here again today with another video and today I want to talk for a bit about Trey young he’s currently in the midst of one of the best seasons of his career just got named an All-Star even though he had to be a replacement when he

Shouldn’t have he’s been phenomenal so far but for the Atlanta Hawks it’s been another disappointing season coming into the year there were a lot of expectations people didn’t think they were like Championship contenders or anything but a lot of people me included thought they were going to take a little

Bit of a jump in the standings perhaps skip the plane entirely as like a six seed I even saw some people say they could be like a five or a four it just seemed like with another year under Quinn Snider after playing pretty well under him in the second half of last

Season another year for try young and deur to develop a little bit of chemistry and some potential breakouts from some of the young guys like Jaylen Johnson for example has been maybe the most improved player of the Season it seemed like a good recipe for a lot more

Success this year compared to the past couple of disappointing Seasons but instead this has maybe been the most disappointing one of the mall heading into the All-Star break the Atlanta Hawks were just the 10 seed seven games below 500 24 and 31 they’re two and a

Half games ahead of the Brooklyn Nets so they’re probably going to make the plan but even if they do this doesn’t feel like a team that’s capable of making any noise whatsoever so they’re probably in for their third straight first round exit which is not great considering what

They did back in 2021 which rapidly raised the expectations for the franchise they W on that Cinderella run knocking off the New York Knicks in very quick fashion in the first round beating the one city of Philadelphia 76ers at home in game seven and then putting up a

Pretty good fight against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals who would eventually go on to win the championship and hey who knows what happens in that series maybe it goes to a seventh game if Tron doesn’t get hurt towards the end of that series twisting

His ankle it was a big moment for the Atlanta Hawks a big moment for try young that seemed to propel them up towards the top of the Eastern Conference but instead it’s just been disappointing season after disappointing season and it seems like a major shakeup may be coming

Soon the Hawks tried to do a shakeup of sworts back last off season when they acquired deant Murray from the Spurs in exchange for three first round picks a deal that felt like it could make them better but I was never one of the people that was very high on it theoretically

Deon tamur is a great defensive guard next to try young made sense but neither one of them projected as a great off ball player and to me if they’re going to go out there and add another star for TR it didn’t need to be somebody in the

Back court it should have been like a wing or a big just didn’t feel like the Jean Murr was going to really raise their ceiling and so far he hasn’t don’t get me wrong he’s a great individual player but it just hasn’t been enough for the Hawks to get anywhere close to

Where they were in 2021 fast forward to about a week ago and it seemed like Deon Murray probably wasn’t going to be in Atlanta Hawk to finish out the season he was one of the biggest names on the trade market there are a lot of rumors flying around the Lakers in particular

Seemed like a big player for him among some other teams but the Hawks ended up holding on to him they said okay we’re just going to stick it out the second half of the Season towards the end of the deadline there were reports that Quinn cider was trying to convince the

Hawks ownership to let this team ride at least for the second half of the year so they decid to do that they didn’t make any major changes and they’re probably going to go into this offseason either falling out in the playin or again losing in pretty embarrassing fashion in

The first round which means you would expect to shakeup probably comes in the offseason whether it is through Deonte Murray or more recently it’s starting to sound like the big shakeup maybe trading Trey young himself keep in mind everything we’ve heard so far are just rumors it’s not like Trey has gone out

There and made a public trade request but there were a lot of reports circulating the big one that really kind of sparked stuff was coming from Mark St who said that rival teams believe that Atlanta could potentially choose to keep Deon Murray rather than try young during

This off season he said perhaps the more significant reason why Try trade talk has a more tangible field than ever before is because there appears to be a true market forming for young for really the first time in his six seasons as a hawk you’ve also got like I think it was

Howard Beck who said that from an executive that he talked to apparently the Spurs at Hawks had some light exploratory conversations on what a try young deal could look like around the trade deadline so not even looking forward to the future they actually discussed it again we don’t know if

That’s true or not but it’s what’s being reported you’ve also got a number of people coming out and saying that the Lakers part of the reason they stood P the deadline is because they believe some bigname Stars could be available in this offseason including Trey young so

It seems like a lot of the rumors circulating are centering around try and I got to be honest it does make sense mainly because the Hawks at the moment are stuck in NBA Purgatory they’ve been a playing Team for the past three years and not really improving they’re not

Getting worse to the point where they can add a top draft pick to maybe then trade for another star alongside Trey young they gave up a bunch of their draft picks forward to the jonay Murray deal so they don’t have those assets they’re just in a weird middle ground

And I don’t really know where they go from here so maybe trading Trey young is the reset that they need but at the same time I completely understand if they want to keep him there’s no guarantee if they decide to go ahead and tank now that they’re going to find a player of

Trey Young’s caliber an All-Star level guy even an all NBA guy I would say who’s continuously improving at any time soon like Trey has really put in a lot of effort to his defense this season easily his best defensive season his playmaking is fantastic he’s one of the

Best offensive players in the world it might be hard to justify trading a guy like that away if they do though I understand again you want to get out of that pergatory and they could get a ridiculous haul from him that could probably help them superpower whatever

Rebuild they go into next there have also been some rumors over the past few years that try Young and the Hawks organization have buted heads at times specifically on like head coaching on the fact that the team isn’t really winning when try young wants to especially after that 2021 run where he

Got a taste of the Eastern Conference Finals I’m sure he wants to get back to that point so I wouldn’t be surprised even if there’s internal pressure from try young to try and win they don’t feel like they’re close so they decide to instead go ahead and trade him or if we

Get to the offseason and we find out that trong has requested a trade that wouldn’t surprise me either I guess we’re just going to have to wait to see what decision the Hawks office makes on him in the summer but for the moment I want to talk a little bit about some of

The more interesting destinations for our Trey young could land a team that’s continuously come up over the past few days are the Lakers again a report came out that part of the reason they didn’t make a big move at the deadline was because they want to go big fish hunting

In this off season and Trey young is currently the number one guy on their target list now the Lakers don’t have the trade package that most of the other interested teams are going to have they do have a very interesting destination though so say try young requests a trade

I wouldn’t be be surprised if La is one of his top spots and if it is I can see the Hawks taking a bit of a lesser deal to get him where he wants to go but just in terms of trying to go ahead and make

An offer to the Hawks they don’t have the best package out there they’re going to have a few first round picks some pick swaps which could be valuable because I mean Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both getting up there in age and these are picks and pick swaps

They’re going to be coming in like the late 2020s the early 2030s which doesn’t even feel like a real year so maybe that’s enticing to the Hawks but the Lakers are also always a destination and try is still young he’s got a lot of great years ahead of him he may not have

Even hit his prime yet so do you want to take a risk on bringing on those picks which could come around when try young is just reaching the peak of his powers so the Lakers are interesting and I mean in terms of a fit if you put him next to

LeBron and Anthony Davis I think he would be phenomenal imagine him throwing lobs to ad you have one of the best defensive bigs in the world the Lakers have some great overall defensive Personnel I think that could be an ideal spot for Tre young and finally the Lakers get a somewhat reliable volume

Shooter another team that’s been popping up a lot in rumors that I think makes a ton of sense are the San Antonio Spurs the team that the Hawks dealt with to get the jeon Murray in the first place maybe they want some of their picks back

From the Spurs they send try young over get a couple of young pieces from that young core and suddenly you’ve got try young paired up with Victor wanyama which would be incredible the one thing that everybody wants to see wemy get this off season is a real point guard it

Feels like that’s the natural next piece to add to the Spurs team whether that’s do the draft or maybe they decide to accelerate the timeline with how good wemi is right now and give him an all sort of play alongside In Trey young Mark Stein I believe it was said in his

Report at the beginning of this whole Trey young Saga that he may be interested in playing in Texas which of course is where San Antonio is and even cited the Spurs as an interesting destination not to mention again Howard Beck talked about how the Spurs and Hawks may have had some exploratory

Conversations the Spurs have a ton of draft Capital going forward a bunch of young pieces and could be an ideal destination if you’re Trey young you get the chance to play alongside one of the best prospects ever a guy who already feels like an Allstar maybe even all NBA

Caliber player by the time the season ends you want to talk about a great defender you can play alongside to mask Trey Young’s weaknesses Victor wanyama may go down is the greatest defender of all time they’ also got like Jeremy soan is a good Defender amongst others I

Think Tryon could immedately Elevate the Spurs team it would make a bunch of sense for both sides so if I’m trying to think of an ideal destination somewhere I think would be really fun to see Trey Young play San Antonio’s towards the top of my list one other team I’ve seen a

Couple of rumors surrounding are the New Orleans Pelicans there’s a rumor that they’re looking to shake up this group a little bit maybe trade away one of Brandon Zion who could potentially be very interesting to the Hawks if they don’t want to go for a full reset and

Would rather get another Young Piece back for Trey young they’ve also got a bunch of first round picks a number of them from the Milwaukee Bucks Who currently are playing well but they’re an older team so those picks could be valuable they’ve got young pieces like a

Dys and Daniels as well if the Hawks are interested so I think they could take a big swing and say they trade away a Zion or an Ingram and you still have Trey young alongside like Trey Murphy herb Jones if you keep him that’s some

Defense to put next to Trey young and it could be a good way to change up this team trade away one all in for another if you feel like the roster just needs a change or if even somehow they find a way to keep all three of those guys

Suddenly they’ve got one of the most talented big threes in the entire NBA and you put some good role players around them you’ve got one of the scariest teams in the Western Conference those are the three teams off the top of my head that I think make the most sense

But there are a lot of other squads out there that I wouldn’t be surprised if they also got into the mix the Houston Rockets are one of those teams at the deadline there was a report that they were interested in grabbing another star to add to this team they clearly want to

Try and win now and bring in Trey young would certainly contribute to that they could send out Fred Van v to expiring contract a number of first- round picks that they have from the Brooklyn Nets which look very valuable they’re probably going to have one of the top

Picks in this year’s draft so if the Hawks are looking for reset grabbing a top pick in this year’s draft plus some of their young players maybe like a Jaylen green for example could be a really interesting package for Atlanta I can see Detroit trying to take a swing

You had try young in the back cour next to Kate Cunningham who’s a bigger guard you’ve got Jaylen durren down low assar Thompson projects as one of the better defenders in the league for a while it feels like if they want to go ahead and shake things up offer a bunch of first

Round picks from a team that’s been really bad the past few seasons maybe you can get the Atlanta Hawks to bite plus some of your young pieces which they do have a lot of interesting guys Utah also I think if they’re looking to accelerate this timeline and give lry

Markin another star they could potentially be interested maybe not as much as some of these other teams because they do have like konay George and Colin seon at the guard spot plus Jordan Clarkson still so they don’t really have a need although try young is certainly better than any of those guys

And if they want to take a swing why not go for him you have a bunch of draft picks you’ve got another star in Larry marinin a great def down low and Walker Kesler I think you could make a really good team out of that grouping the

Brooklyn Nets feel like also a natural spot that would try and go for a Trey young it’s seeming like they want to Star rather than trying to restart from nothing they don’t really have any of their draft picks so there’s not that much of an incentive to tank in their

Regard they’ve also got a bunch of draft picks from Phoenix as well as Philly who are both currently in precarious situations even though they’re good in the moment so those could be potentially interesting picks for a team like Atlanta I also expect a team like the Knicks to come up in these conversations

He loves playing in mass and Square Garden as evident by his first run series against against him in 2021 it feels like he’s built for the big stage but at the same time they’ve already got jayen Brunson it seems like they are kind of going after Donovan Mitchell I

Don’t think a back cour of Brunson and trailing makes a lot of sense he just doesn’t feel like the star for me even though the Knicks certainly have the assets to go ahead and try and make that deal and then I’m sure OKC is going to

Be brought up as a thunder fan he doesn’t really make much sense at all for us he is from Oklahoma so that would make sense in terms of keeping him close to home but we’ve already got Shay you know we’ve got dub dor like we’ve got a

Bunch of guys at kind of that guard forward position so I don’t know if try young necessarily makes sense also this is a team that’s kind of predicated on like lengthy defending type guys and try young really doesn’t fit that mold these are the top squads that come to mind for

Me I think he’s going to have a pretty big Market it seems like the reports are hinting at that and again makes sense it’s not a very strong free agent class there aren’t a lot of Big Time stars out there in the market and if try young is

Available with how talented he is I think a lot of teams are going to put in big offers it’s going to come down to whether or not TR young wants to be in a certain destination or not I think to where he lands if he wants to be in San

Antonio I think that makes a lot of sense if he wants to go to La it’s going to be a battle I think probably similar to the whole Damen lard Miami Heat situation this off season between how much are you willing to give up in a potential package to get try young to

Where he wants to go after what he’s done for your franchise so I guess we’ll have to wait and see but I’m very excited for this I like player movement I’m sure Hawks fans don’t want to see trayon go and I’m not saying he’s 100%

Going to be dealt but if he is it would be one of the biggest shakeups of the entire offseason could really change the landscape of whatever conference he lands and if he lands over in the west he could change things drastically for the Lakers who are kind of stuck in

Limit for the Spurs rapidly Elevate them in Victor wi yama’s timeline it’s going to be a very interesting thing to follow and I think over the rest of the season as the Hawks continue to hang around this plan range and see what they do in the plan and if they make the playoffs

We’ll get a lot more information about where this thing could go in the summer but I just want to go and talk about it because it’s one of the more interesting potential story lines to follow in the second half of the Season specifically regarding player movement I appreciate

You watching leave a like And subscribe if you enjoy hit the notification Bell so you don’t miss out future videos comment down below whether or not you think try young does get traded and if you think will where do you think he ends up I appreciate you watching I’ll

See you later real one say back

Over the last few years, the Atlanta Hawks have been incredibly disappointing. Trae Young has continuously given the franchise All Star and even All NBA level play, but it hasn’t resulted in any Playoff success outside of their 2021 Eastern Conference Finals run. Atlanta tried to give Trae a costar by trading for Dejounte Murray, but that hasn’t worked out very well. Dejounte Murray was in trade rumors all the way up until the deadline but ultimately was kept, signaling that the tear down may happen in the offseason instead. But, over the last week, rumors have been picking up around Trae Young instead, with many reporters signaling that he may be dealt this offseason in a deal that could shake up the NBA. Teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs are towards the top of the list, but anywhere Trae lands could change the landscape of the league drastically. Let’s talk about it.

  1. Trae isn't half as good as you make him out to be. If someone is dumb enough to give a descent haul for him you do it every time. He has a weak constitution and no leadership capabilities. He's empty stats and highlight reels and that's all. If he's your teams foundation the floor will always be rotting.

  2. Is Murray not a potentially better player to build around three cone ? He’s showed he can match high assist numbers like Trae minimising turnovers along with it on a bad team, his scoring is down but he tends to shoot at a slightly higher clip, and definitely has higher defensive upside. Give him the helm and trade some other pieces, keeping Johnson and Okongwu, could he not be a more stable player to maintain, as seen when Trae young went down with injury ? Feel like he could be the better player

  3. As a Hawks fan how can we be this disappointing by many people if we've disappointed year after year after year, and just give it time man who knows maybe we get things going after the all-star break, and I do think Trae won't be traded he seems likely to stay for a long time regardless of the situation, he feels like a Dame type player where he becomes loyal to his team for about a decade then finally starts to go elsewhere, and speaking of Dame this Hawks team are alot like last year's Blazers where they have their franchise guy in Trae Young but not much else, and were great to begin the year but have since fallen off a cliff, regardless of what happens however for those whose don't know I got to see Trae and the Hawks play live in person for my birthday not too long ago so at least I got to enjoy that.

  4. As a Hawks fan, all I can say is we need defense, and I thought trae young fault well no it not we are just bad at defense

  5. 2 things. The Pistons do not have a lot of tradeable picks. And I don't want to sacrifice Cade or Ivey for Trae. Specifically, I want to see just how high Jaden Ivey ceiling is, particularly in a Pistons jersey.

  6. Trae has not been fantastic man. Until his recent hot streak he was shooting under league average from 3 and the field. Plays no defense and averages 5 turnovers per game. I understand he generates a lot of offense for them, but it’s not a winning style.

  7. As a rockets fan, i kinda like the idea of trading green , FVV and some picks for. We have a great core around us and jalen green just isn’t that guy. We got senguin, we got cam, we got amen we got jabari smith and BROOKS

  8. If Trae wants to make the ECF again, he could try playing on both ends of the court. So crazy, it just might work.

  9. I don’t know why but if Trae Young goes to the Lakers I think it’ll be a flop and Trae would probably get booed out of the city

  10. In 2021 they cheated. Offence and defence. They literally changed several rules after that post season. Thats why they haven't been back. They never deserved to be there in the first place.

  11. Trae has expressed his desire to win a championship in Atlanta but sadly I don’t have faith in our front office to make good decisions

  12. These titles got to stop I’m so sick of seeing “This is the end…It’s Over For…” Like what’s wrong with “What Trae Young’s Future Is…”

  13. Trae is going to go from living in Atlanta to … San Antonio or Utah?
I'd put my money on LA.

  14. I think in order for trae to take the next step in his career he needs to get better at getting shots and also making quick passes and reads off the ball like curry I think he can do that easily

  15. The Hawks haven’t had a Trae Young type of player in decades. They’re not moving him unless HE wants out.

  16. Trae Young thirsting over Wemby at every chance he has, when the Spurs have zero interest in his average skills, really shows where Trae is in the league. I can't wait for him to play for the Lakers and just be terrible

  17. As a Spurs fan, the last thing we want is to bring over a mediocre player like Trae and blow our assets on that. Its much better to just pick guys in the draft with the Hawks picks, players who will likely be better than Trae Young. Dejounte Murrey makes more sense as a Spurs trade cause he knows the team and actually fits. But more than that the Spurs can trade for Derrick White for less than what Trae costs, and Derrick is a better fit and better player than Trae. So again zero reason, ZERO, to trade for Trae. Not when you own the Hawks future and can force them to give you multiple assets like Jalen Johnson in return for those picks

  18. I'm all Mavs fan, but right now feel bad for Trae, he is great player and nice guy..he doesn't deserve all this bads..

  19. That ECF's trip was fools gold for ATL because it created unrealistic expectations. If Ben Simmons dunks the ball down the stretch ATL doesn't overachieve and reach the ECF.

They're still very good. Add a Jalen Duren/Mark Williams type to them and they're on their way.

We falsely judge teams too much today before they get a chance to find their footing. Minnesota was written off as scrubs and epic losers of the worst trade in history all year last year. His thing they didn't trade everybody because they have the best record in a stacked west a year later off sheer internal growth & chemistry.

Ijs let's not give up on Trae Young & The Hawks just yet. Their future is bright as hell.

  20. The league should go back to 8 teams. And they should all be called the lakers. Everyone will have their super team and live happily ever after

  21. Dude , this is just you fetching for material to post . Trae isn’t getting traded bro , & if he does it won’t be any time soon as the deadline has passed . Go somewhere

  22. God he sucks.

Zero defense, flies into defenders to bait fouls, shoots 3’s from half court for no reason, no wonder his rep around the league is so good

  23. Ur hype on wrong is insane. Reel it bck.. And trading trade is dumb af.. Lets trade a top NBA player in hopes to draftanother trade young. Its idiotic

  24. Trae will be on the Spurs next season and his career will be completely revived

Im not exaggerating at all when i say hell probably average around 15 assists per game if he goes to the spurs with wembenyama

  25. Forgot to talk about the income tax 😉 he’s not going to LA. It’s a trap. Pressure, older team, more in taxes. Lakers ain’t gonna happen. He’s gonna be a spur
