That must be one of the most an anticlimactic slam dunk contests in recent years. I mean yeah all dunks were good – except JB’s dunk on the 2nd round – but no real creativity or anything that makes you go wow compared to other years.

It should've been McClung vs Toppin in the final. Scoring JB on a curve for being a big name participant is an embarrassment. Not commenting on how lame JB was exposes the favoritism shown towards certain franchises. The NBA is in trouble.

racism not to give mcclung the 50 for first dunk and then such high scores to jb who didnt even merit being in the final round, his dunk were a copy of mcclungs jumping over people so why do you clap for the imitation and not the oringinal.. also they are taking away from his high score in the annals of nba dunk contest , also bc of the high scores for jb and lower scores for mcclung they took away from the entertainment as it force mcclung to not take out the secret stash of dunks and try the riskier ones ive seen him do the 720 and a dunk he was working on never done the self bounce one the judges probably wanted him to not out shine everyone like last time why not? had it been honest scoring then i would stated too bad he had to play it safe but given the garbage dunks from jb its discrimination the glove bad and him putting another jersey is a mcclung from last year thing and then when he gave it to shaq that jb imitated it makes him stand out less .. i think the first dunk was a 50 best dunk in the whole event but had they not scored badly i think he wouldve tried something more risky he said it he was pulling out dunks no one has seen or done and his dunks after his first one didnt show all his potential judges didnt want him to do so it is obvious also how many white guys do you even see in the contest and look how you treat the only one sad ., and jaquez only mex and he should of been in the final

For the young gunners here, your dunks gota look and be clean no matter how crazy the scored dunk is. Dunkers in the old days like vince also had beatiful form too that its like straight out of a japanase comic. Dunk is a combination of power and beauty kinda like figure skating.
This is a very stupid system where dunks are rate up to 50 points instead of 10….a simple windmill dunk should be 8 out of 10, that is 40 out of 50
