You kind of describe what this weekend has felt like for you far with all the different things you’ve been yeah man like it’s all been a blur at this point you know I kind of um we going from event to event you know spot to

Spot but it’s been a lot of fun just being a to represent obviously the p in Indianapolis you know it’s a blessing and honor be here as long as I have back dope miles as a defensive star like you are do you think there’s too much offense in the game today

Um a good question but I think offense sells tickets so not necessarily you know I definitely um am someone that uh you know as a basketball Piers I love defense I love um you know what it brings to the game you know from my perspective but you know most of my fans

Casual fans people that just want entertainment and whatnot do going to be a basketball not necessarily but because of basketball in general perhaps who’s the best player in the league right now the best player in the league right now uh you know you I obious very bias you

Know we have you know one of our buddy stars right here in the own backyard so it’s s taking you know World about storm but um you know I’ve always been guys so until retired probably miles if you could add one rule to the NBA what would it be in why if I

Could add one rule to the NBA is that four point that four point for sure I think a lot of people have been trying to do that and just uh with everybody shooting with distance right now you know it’s pretty interesting it’s pretty cool to see what they bring to the table

So I think that would open the game up a little bit and if you could go back in time and watch one sporting event live what would it be um once spor is live I go back in time prob last time to C on the Super Bowl man it was a couple

Couple years before I was born and I just need I need a little bit of that Feelgood so yeah you know probably that Super Bowl thank you what are you most excited about um just the environment you know it’s one thing to play you know in game

Bridge here itself but uh you know to being in a big football arena it’s a little bit different it’s a bigger stage and what not you know obviously a lot more eyes a lot more people and attention so um just being on S stage just uh you know soaking up enjoying the

Moment what do you think about that led That’s it man for real I really saw some of that stuff last year when they were you know you know had some renderings about it they were IDE is with actually see come to fruition be able to put your

Own eyes on it it’s PR go what makes you and able to win it’s home cooker man be right here you going to make it we going hold it down miles how many 10year olds would it take to beat you in a game of pickup how

Many 10year olds would it take to beat me in a game of pickup I just had a bunch of 10-year-olds at my camp and I ran up that score there was 30 of them so um you know it’s probably it probably take quite a few I probably 30 plus for

Sure yeah you’re playing Bully ball the entire time OB absolutely and then and then real quick how who’s one guy in NBA history that you wish you could have played as a teammate with one guy in NBA history like Could Oscar Rob for sure I think it’s dope man big old cuz

He’s a um you know original like triple double King me like see someone that was able to really uh get everybody involved in his own like style to the game so it’s cool appreciate it so miles if you could change a um miles you change a rule or an officiating on defense that

Would help defense what would that be oh not defensive threee easy you know I played some FEA basketball you know a couple years ago the World Cup and uh that made my job a lot easier one as a shot blocker as a as an anchor and um

You know nor defense three open up a lot of different things in the game make the game a lot harder you know SP you know for what we have the league who’s the best team you played against this season best team I played against this season

Um probably Boston I mean I feel like they have a lot of um things clicking right now you know got a lot of things going you know the right way but you know it’s all about who be HP at the right time the officiating the same

Better or worse this year than we used to oh I’m not answering that one you TI oh he did the same that first half especially you know I watched that one I think he held it down it was cool U I think he was someone that uh you know

Obviously know has some poop in his background and know it’s funny when football players you know try to come over and enter this world cuz I think it’s just bully bom do what I want but it’s a lot of skill lot foress com to the game too so for people football

Players able to come over and have a little you know mix of both to see it times have you Ty and Ben talked about what order you’re going to go in tonight and how did you three end up being the three from the team that are going to

Represent oh not necessarily bro I think we just um you know we all three of us knew we wanted to do it um but you know we’ve all been ripping to run this this year I mean uh this um this weekend as a whole but you know we get some practice

Time a little today TR to figure out the as we go catch the others and seeing them kind of give that um well you know I think with is so impressive cuz everything happens so fast you know what I mean I think he’s someone that uh got a lot of

His success you know as soon as he got here and for some people they don’t they’re not really able to handle that you know things that come with it but you know I think he’s a Midwest kid and I think people can actually you know gravitate towards him just cuz he in

Tangi are there man got a great smile he get a lot of people involved he very uh um very easy going so I think he’s embraced him really well I think the city’s embraced him and um you know fans made a lot of easy on said at likeis

LeBron like look at him like he’s that dude do anything with this guy what gives you that belief in him see him um you know time and time again I think he steps up when his name is called you know I think that you know press situations you know he’s someone

Who you know cooler boys is someone that we can depend on you know in times like that so um you know tyres is making a name for himself in his own you know in his own way and um you know a lot of people want to come here and play with

Him because of so how do you feel about the 65 game rule 65 games um you know I think for for me personally you know was being here as long as I have I feel like everybody should go through what I had to go through so 18 games is definitely

One thing but um you know having a short season of whatnot it just kind of depends on you know what you do with the playoffs you know do you do you change the playoff format do you make that do you mix it up a little bit more I mean

Um I personally just like enjoy just you know 10 understand miles who is the worst dressed player in the NBA the worst dressed player in the NBA um that’s a great question you know I really don’t pay attention as much as I should uh huh I’ll probably give it to one of our

You know the year before he got to the league and just see you know some of the things he brought to the table so uh wheny is someone who obviously with his stature 75 just um and this his guard skill set um someone can Trans in the

Game you know if he so chooses to I think that he got a lot of skill obviously a lot to learn being very young what he’s doing but he’s uh figured out a lot very fast if you’re picking Team USA this summer who are you

Putting on on so if I picking Team USA what was the second part of that who are you putting on Team USA this summer if it was up to you uh bro I’m not lie I’m not about to go to this whole list of people they already put it out there so

That’s the that’s the list right there b yesterday your Lego contest there aie gu Marley won it what you want to pick him for that um honestly just the uh the individuality and the creativity put into it I feel a lot of people are trying to do the same things and he uh

Put his own 20 to he made his own goal and uh I think he did a good job it was actually that was a fun little uh competition in the area I think he did uh did this thing what do it mean to kind of have the opportuni to step away

For the game a little bit stes gave shoes to Christmas like those things that you are doing to kind of bring the city um well that’s what matters the most in my opinion and I think me personally um ever since my rookie year here in Indianapolis you

Know I’ve had my warm Foundation I’ve uh wanted to get activated in the community you know as best as I could and um you know with all this visibility right now at this time you know I think um um you know the league does a great job of

Trying to um you know revamp certain projects in area like we went to the chrismore house here today that’s something that’s very U you know it’s been 1905 and they got his whole new St whole new stem lab and a whole newy court for the kids and whatnot so just

Little stuff like that inv visibility that the league gets you know just for the great efforts it’s cool the Simon family obviously has a lot to do with everything we do here in Indianapolis and their um you know commitments have been amazing overall so you know I just

Enjoy the the opportunity just to have the platform that I have and continue to you know get it out long how much pride you take in this city hosting a global EV so much pride man I think that people are starting to see why we’re one of the better H cities

You know I think people come here for other events but that NBA Allstar right here in in a state that’s so deserving you know it’s a a state that really just you know just uh just born and bred out of basketball you know it’s cool to see

Our fans come through you know I was at the uh um NBA KH appearances yesterday and the crossover and um you know just having the kids just run around and what not be able to immerse your themselves in that experience as fun seeing them

Faces so you know I take a lot a great deal of prodcts welcome people to our city we able to get away for a couple days at all recharge well just recharge will what will that look like uh for me personally man I’ll probably get a day

To myself um you know I’m not sure what that’s going to be but I’ll get a day before we get right back to it and uh just get off my feet a little bit and just kind of just uh just GE for the second half of the Season you know I

Think uh I personally couldn’t missed an opportunity like this you know just having Indianapolis you know post allar weekend like you said be here as long as I had and uh you know not you know put a smile on my face and putting off you City what was your first impression

Theti when you got trained in did you see like this coming this leap that he’s taking from you know allar conly allba top yeah I don’t think anybody really saw it coming as fast as it did obviously you know I um I was familiar with him but I was familiar with him

He came here and you know I was done for the season at the time you know a lot of a lot of the best weren’t playing there was a lot of our G leers and you know guys trying to fight for minutes and you know our third and fourth stre Center

Was being 20 and 10 numbers you know a lot of people were playing really well off of him so to see what he was able to do just with that unit had such a great connection I was like okay future right one word to describe Indiana basketball

Culture um say riveting like I I really do like when you come to game Bridge you actually come to a game you actually experience like you know what it means that to be in those fourth quarter and everybody’s on their feet and it’s like you know ready for that one moment like

Carter I mean off R ob one my grew up watching uh I’ll probably throw go Sean K in there we can definitely go demard de Rosen you got those Zack LaVine back in there and Aaron Gordon man those are those are heck of a competition five and need one

More uh we never seen LeBron do it bro I feel like got LeBron to what was the like seeing what Ben did last night bring the MVP I think it was very just uh on brand if you will and uh you know I talked to him beforehand I

Think he was really lock in for the moment and I was happy for him that he got that moment here in the city you know what I mean so uh that exposure for him was great I was excited he was able to bring that home all right thanks everyone
