When players work hundreds of thousands of hours on perfecting the art of the dribble, pull up jump shot, and creative finishes, they tend to respect other players who do the same, instead of those who simply push and shove to the rim. Not saying one is worse because they are both equally effective, but one just requires a lot more effort.
