The other day I said that Giannis’ story has been told so many times over and over again that I kind of questioned if we really needed to hear it again, but…
This is the best doc anyone’s done on him. It’s also a borderline love letter to Milwaukee from him and his fam. This man is never leaving Milwaukee.
It’s the best because it has a lot of footage I haven’t seen and then also interviews a lot of the Bucks org on his time here. It also goes into personal stuff I find interesting like how he and Mariah met, his experience with a sports psych, some details around Charles’ death, etc. It also is really high quality from a production standpoint.
I’d say this and the book Miran Fader wrote are the best two summations of his life until now.

Loved it. His story is so much bigger than basketball. I hadn’t heard he went to therapy and was dealing with so much off the court leading up to the championship… & I can’t think of many superstars in any sport who would be as open with their struggles. So proud of our guy.
The doc also did a great job illustrating how meaningful the ’21 run was for the him, his family, and the city. What a good, dedicated, loyal person.
