As the title says, Poole has been benched, presumably for the foreseeable future. Could this be good for him as he develops some confidence in a 6th man role? Or will his confidence shatter to the shadow realm as he’s unable to start on arguably the worst team on the league?

Dammm hopefully he can turn his career around
The fall of Jordan Poole will be a documentary
That’s crazy
He’s got to be one of the best contract year only players of all time right? Like he’s been one of the worst players in the league every year except 2022
Getting benched by a 9-45 team is genuinely insane
Poole party is closed, boys!
Its amazing he’s still only 24
Gotta be depression or somethin… i don’t see how one just drops off like this.
Man said his legacy is secure.. really just gonna cash checks now.
Tank secured, time to develop the young talent. He got discharged from the starting lineup with full honors for fulfilling his duty to the rebuild.
He doesn’t belong as a 6th man, either. He’s been an absolute disaster on both ends this year. If he was not under contract for next season, he damn well might have played himself out of the league.
When you’re so good at being bad they have to bench you
that’s next level tanking
Coulibaly at PG
Relegate him to G league again, let him find his groove again. Worked wonders in GSW lol
This man knocked us out of the playoffs, what the hell
We really traded Beal for a late 1st and Poole. I love how as soon as we had a solid GM, our owner decided it’s time to get rid of him and bring Ernie 0.5 here. What a joke of a FO.
Draymond ruined him
Had the Wizards had him last year, they would have gotten Wemby. GOAT TANK COMMANDER
Draymond should’ve hit him harder.
“top 4 pick secured, time to build a championship culture” – kyle kuzma, probably
I feel vindicated because I always said if you watch him, it’s clear he’s trash, but he helped that Warriors team beat the Celtics. Unbelievable.
Poole Year 1: Had a historically inefficient rookie season.
Poole Year 3: Wins a title as a key player averaging 17/3/4 on 65 TS% in the title run and gets a $30M annual deal.
Poole Year 5: Benched on a 9-45 team.
One of the weirdest career arcs in league history so far. Very Ben Simmons like.
54 games too late
Interim coach?
Stories like Jordan Poole is the reason I will die on the hill that succeeding or busting depends heavily on the organization that drafts you. Poole would be Allonzo Trier if drafted on the wrong team and Tyler Herro if drafted by the right team.
Idk what’s more insane, getting benched by a 9-45 team or a 9-45 team wanting to compete
Maybe this is what he needs?
There’s a good player somewhere inside Jordan Poole. I’d like to see him again.
His defence is like “you can’t come back from this” levels of awful.
I’ve watched Wizards games this year specifically to watch him on defence and he seems to think standing roughly near a player and occasionally lifting an arm is sufficient.
Sure there are players who don’t try on defence but they aren’t this transparent about it. Plus they usually offer something else to balance it out.
I remember when this sub thought he was better than Tyler Herro
Can Poole sue Draymond for giving him brain damage
I feel really bad for Poole. He probably has real PTSD and confidence issues since his teammate punched him and the team did nothing to protect him. I’d want to hide away and be reclusive if it happened to me. He just has to play basketball so he can get his check. Fuck Draymond Green. What he did was seriously damaging.
Poole is not useful on a young/tanking team. His bball IQ is so low that you can’t even be instructional with young guys around him. He makes everyone worse and when you have no talent, you actually want some purpose to what you are doing. Poole could be replaced by anyone who isnt a dumbass and guys will improve. They won’t win, but they will get better.
I wish his mental health well.
