We as suns fans need to relax with the panic. This mavs team when healthy is a top 4 seed easily when you look at the numbers. I think the stat is mavs when their starting 5 play together are like 17-4 or something dumb like that. Just as they struggled when missing their key pieces like Kyrie and Lively, we struggle when missing Brad. It isn't that serious. The healthy team beat the team missing their 3rd best guy….SHOCKER…
Vogel's small 3 guard lineup is a liability, especially on D. The Suns roster is good enuff 2 win it all but Frank's all offense, no size, no D, is a major the problem.

The offense with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant running “point guard” is so painful to watch. We NEED to run the offense through Nurk at the top of the key and utilize CUTTERS and off ball action. We’ve probably seen a grand total of 5 lob passes all season and please don’t give me crap about not having a lob threat. Other teams find ways to get easy efficient lobs and rim pressure but every time KD or Book bring the ball up, here comes the trap and inevitable turnover machine combined with tough shot taking when there are WIDE OPEN guys they can be hitting on the roll or cuts. Never seen a team so horrific at making basic passes and just pure laziness boxing out or contesting in the paint. Nurkic and book and KD each let up atleast 2 WIDE OPEN dunks tonight because they were late on a rotation or were staring at the ball not finding a body to box out. This team almost certainly is not going anywhere if they do not clean some things up big time.
We’re in the PLAY IN. Yes, it’s time to panic again people. The season is coming to an end and we have the toughest stretch of basketball in the league coming up and the problems the suns have has been persistent ALL season. They do not box out and they are atrocious at executing basic coverages and passes. Turnovers and offensive rebounds WILL be the death of this team come playoff time.

After every game we lose you guys keep saying you aren’t worried. Excellent breakdown guys.
Still can’t figure out why when you have Book KD Allen EG or Beal that we continue to play iso ball or drive into like 3 players to take tougher shots rather than moving the ball to open up quality shots.
Still lost why we keep going to Nurkic for post ups as him blowing couple of possessions can get us down by double digits quick. He doesn’t even get back to help on defense as he is busy looking at his hands in background.
Why can’t the bigs just put team first for success and get rebounds to give the Book KD Beal Allen or EG second shots.
They can’t play defense, can’t even dominate on getting rebounds and can’t finish when you give them easy shot opportunity.
Beal is not a superstar or top 25 player. Maybe 3 years ago.
So when Booker comes to the Mavs how mad y’all gonna be? 😂
So nothing to worry about? This team was sold to it's fans at the start of the season as a potential super team and unstoppable offensive juggernaut. I understand that players get injured but beal appears to be made of glass because he's always out hurt. We've had opportunities to draft a backup pointguard the last several seasons . Guys like jared butler, miles mcbride, ayo dosunmo. We've also had chances to draft or sign bigs and james jones said no. Instead we have overloaded our roster with wings and undersized tweeners at the forward position. We could of rolled the dice in the buyout market on killian hayes, cory joseph, seth curry. We still haven't corrected our biggest weaknesses and concerns in turnovers and interior defense and scoring. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. This is exactly what we are doing and have been doing. Vogel has no choice but to play small ball because all our tall players( aside from nurkic ) are tweeners that are too short to play out of position or too thing and can't handle the physicality of stronger players. Vogel can't play big because we can't throw out a imposing front line. Really the only time we win is when we are shooting lights out . Grind out games we almost always lose. We have the toughest remaining schedule in the west. Set the homerism aside and face reality, we aren't contenders this season. Maybe next season if the correct personnel and coaching issues are addressed . The bottom line is everyone was talking about everything we sacrificed to assemble this team and gamble on beal. The goal is the championship or it's a failure. Now all of a sudden we are walking it back and accepting potential mediocrity? I really can't see us winning it all this year and next year everyone is a lityle bit older and the west will be even stronger. Unpopular opinion but there is a very good chance that we lose most or all of our remaining games and don't even qualify as a play-in team. When is it finally going to sink in that we need a new gm with a fresh approach to team building and young talented backups at each position to extend our window. Size depth and defense on the interior and a real pointguard that can actually get everyone in their spots and allow booker, beal and durant to focus on attacking offensively. Yes, there are games left but the bigger concern is we were projected at the start of the season to be a legit title contender and we are struggling for the seventh or eighth playoff spot? This isn't what the fans were told they would get. Fans have every right to be upset, if we don't win it our salary position confines us to basketball hell for the next decade. No trades, no picks , no major free agent aquisitions. If we somehow get in , we will be run out by bigger teams with better defense and better playmaking guards. Chances of all our guys staying healthy enough to go all the way is maybe five percent. Start looking to the potential of next season.
