How the Indiana Pacers dispatched the Detroit Pistons as Tyrese Haliburton dominates

The Pacers beat the Pistons Tyrese halberton looks healthy an awful third quarter clouds and otherwise fantastic game for the Pacers we’ll talk about it all and I am gonna poo poo some Paul George stuff on today’s locked on Pacers podcast you are locked on Pacers your daily Indiana Pacers podcast part of the

Locked on podcast Network your team every day what up y’all happy Friday congrats you made it through the week and welcome into another edition of The Loon Pacers podcast where are we of course talk about the Indiana Pacers as always my name is Tony East I cover the team for

Forbes and Si and today Pacers beat the Pistons handily but that does not tell the story of the game perfectly weirdness all around Kate Cunningham looks really good piters have a ton of ugly stretches they have to watch clips of themselves playing right after the game in the locker room in a double

Digit win that’s how weird this game was and yet still a double diger victory in which Tyrese halberton looked great TJ McConnell was fantastic cakam was clutch lots of good stuff to cover from Pacers pistons and at the end we have to finish up yes finish this up talking about Paul

George we got to hear from him at All-Star break there was some reporting connecting him and the Pacers and I’m going to poo poo it all and you are going to learn a lot because that will be very capful at the end but we start with the game that just happened in

Front of my eyes a couple hours ago Pacers pistons in gamebridge Fieldhouse no Aaron n Smith for the Pacers they start Ben Maan I was thinking before the game could this be a Ben Ma and Jaden Ivy game could this be a game where the Pacers look fantastic coming out of the

All-Star break could this be a game where the Pacers wobble because they’ve stunk against crappy teams all season where is this going to go how about none of those how about maybe the Pacers best first half of the season I am receptive to the opponent they played they played

The Pistons the Pistons stink the Pacers were up 31 31 in the first half against the Detroit Pistons my God were they good in the first half of this basketball game again the first half we’ll get to the rest of the game there’s a lot of not so

Great stuff that happened after the first half but this might that might have been the best 204 even if they played the 96 Bulls they might have been winning or in that game in the first half they stung for the first very couple minutes of the game they were

Down 1211 and then they just absolutely kicked behind for the rest of the half halberton looked awesome he hit three threes in a row in the first quarter to really get the team going SE yakum scored the first five points Miles Turner was having some nice old duckins

Right the starters were were really good in all of those ways and jam hard was defending pretty well Obi toppen was really f fantastic Off the Bench Isaiah Jackson was feeling well as the backup center TJ McConnell was really good everybody everybody who played you were like wow that’s a phenomenal performance

And they paired it with great defense Kade Cunningham was cutting them up nobody else was absolutely nobody else was for the Pistons for some reason nba.com box score isn’t working so I can’t cut the score into the first half I will try to do it on I swear it was

Working when I hit record I will try to do it on ESPN while I’m still talking but it was one of their best of the Season Rick carile said it after the game right that’s what you want to see if you’re the Pacers like good qu you

Don’t you know of course you want to see this all the time but to play that well for that long was impressive they hadn’t played like that in a while even against Bad teams and then the third quarter happened the third quarter Rick Carlile described as one of the Pacers worst

Quarters of the entire season the Pistons scored 43 points in the first half it was 72- 43 at a halftime the Pacers excuse me the Pistons scored more points in the third quarter alone than they scored in the entire first half they scored 45 in the third they were

Six for eight from Deep they were getting the shots they wanted it was just bananas they were on fire I finally have found box scor so I could talk a little bit better about the game even though I had a complete disaster of attemp to just a second ago so first

Half like I just said Pacers were up 29 at halftime Pacers were 10 for 19 from Deep shooting 57% from the field eight turnovers his a little high but they did well to limit the Pistons on the offensive glass they forced 11 turnovers themselves the Pistons were shooting 40%

From the field it was fantastic and all of the Pacers players who hit the floor and played were doing well it was just a buck KCK King 4225 in the first quarter 30 to 18 in the second quarter then the third quarter happened 45 for Detroit the Pacers scored 30 that’s okay but

They gave up 45 18 for 27 were the Pistons four for seven for Cade five for six for Duran everybody off the bench was making shots except for Troy Brown there were six Freight from three the Pistons were they only turned it over once and they hit the offensive glass

For two of those everything the Pacers did well in the first half went away in the third quarter which is why this game’s weird it’s still a Buck kicking they won by double digits they tied them up in the fourth quarter they got it done they were LED in a typical is style

But just the way chronologically it happened just made it feel worse like if they had if they had that first quarter and they were down 15 at halftime and just totally dominated the second half the way you’d talk about this game would be different to me but that’s not it

Happened and their third quarter was just completely atrocious and so Carlile had the Pacers stay in the locker room they’re not going to practice Friday because they practiced two days in a row before that game to watch some of that quarter they watched clips of their third quarter the last time I remember

The Pacers watching clips of a game in the locker room was against the Hawks a few years ago they watched the entire first half I believe I cannot remember uh exactly when that was I believe Carla was the coach for that uh yeah they watched some clips and they

Wanted to go over it but overall he thought the first half was one of the best they’ve played all season and they did again win handily like this is it’s so strange to be latched onto that quarter but they just played so bad against a crappy team that it wasn’t a

Complete win right the game chart is super odd where they’re so good basically from the middle of the first quarter up until the middle of the third quarter they have this just God awul stretch until the early fourth and then cruise to a win but they did cruise to a

Win they did win by 14 they have one they stay in six in the East and oh by the way I’m getting ahead of myself the Sixers lost and this will be a story now for the rest of the season the Pacers are one game out of fifth as of me

Talking to you right now now the magic won uh their game they played last night like they’re still not holding on to anything firm but that does shake up the mix of that 5 through eight race that there’s another team now in the mix in Philly who is not playing particularly

Well um any wh Pacers won they got it done despite they’re one of their worst quarters of the season because their first half was so good and the interesting thing to me about this Pacers game and where I think most of the discussion should go is Tyrese

Halton the guy who’s been the guy all season uh but then had that stretch with the injury where he was on a minute restriction and even when he was playing on the minute restriction he wasn’t at 100% And then he could play a little

More but he still was at 100% And I said this over the allstar break if you listen I forget if was my solo sh with James where I said I thought it was interesting that after the All-Star Game tyres Halbert made it a point to us to

Say that he did the one-legged dunk and he felt good and he did the off the backboard to himself dunk in in the skills Challenge and he felt good right it didn’t bother him and I thought okay maybe he’s healthy enough to play a lot but if he’s still thinking about what

That’s going to feel like right he’s not 100% you know he’s still dealing with a little bit of stuff but then they had three more days off he did not practice Tuesday most of the rest of the team did because he had such busy All-Star Weekend well in this game he dunked on

Two possessions in a row consecutively that’s what in a row means and he got the three threes on consecutive possessions in the first quarter and one of them he was kind of fading to his right jumping off of his left leg and he set after the game that’s the shot that

He kind of felt like wasn’t quite available to him when recovering from this injuries that off the off the leg off the left leg shots and so even though he didn’t make them all in this game I think he made one and missed a couple more he might have missed them

All but even though just getting to it I think speaks volumes of his recovery and I asked him after the game if he’d consider himself fully healthy and he was like yeah we’ll see how we respond tomorrow so I think this is as close to full health Tyrese hurn as the Pacers

Have had since the injury which was again now January 8th that’s significant one because he’s good but two just stylistically watching him played today you could see it he got up 10 threes that’s what makes halberton so good is he can get up 10 threes and they’re all

Good looks he had 13 assists and 25 points he was fantastic again he looked like the Superstar guard and not just like the pretty good guard that they’ve had you know when he was recovering or on a minutes restriction and that’s so big for the Pacers because then you can

Afford a night where one of your starters who’s filling in for Aaron n Smith doesn’t have it and you can afford a night where Doug mcder doesn’t have it you have no Wing pressure you can’t stop Kate Cunningham and you can Cruise because your star is back that makes

Everybody else’s life way easier open shots for M hard open shots for Turner seak with a slow start but was the closer he was great when it mattered right like that all was really important and it all trickles down from the star is the star again and so now the

Defenses have to think uh oh tyres hurn is coming around a pick and roll we got to send two guys we got to put all eyes on him we got to be ready for that oh and he passed it over our head and this guy’s now open or oh we gotta rotate to

This guy or just you you all watch the Pacers if you’re listening to this or at least primarily you do or you have some interest in them and I’m explaining it to you but that is just so huge for them there’s a different level to the way he

Played in this game again I’m aware it’s the Pistons but I’ve seen him not play that well against Bad teams in this exact stretch this was the best he’s looked he said it’s the best he feels I’m inclined to call that significant especially because they have two more

Days off before they play next they play next on Sunday against the Mavs so big night for halberton statistically big night for Halbert in the health department and a big night for halberton doing stuff he has not been able to do I thought again I may be over stated this

But I thought it was a big deal he he called out that he not was like testing but just that he did those dunks in the allstar game and was like yeah I felt good after that like he he just offered that up and so to dunk twice in a row

This game and to be so threatening from deep and to just be moving very well it was the most Halbert and E he looked since the injury that’s huge and that’s a big part of why the PTI won he was plus 12 and a 14-point win you can do

Math that’s a lot of the the advantage in the game and he wasn’t the only good point guard he wasn’t the only good Pacer plenty more guys to talk about and what it means going forward for this Pacers team before we talk about any of that though gotta talk to you guys about

Pacers thanks for making us your first listen today and every single day for your second listen check out lock on Pistons cah Hill we’ll tell you about the team the Pacers just beat why did Kade Cunningham not play a little more my gosh the Pacers had no answers for

Him he barely cracked 30 minutes in this game I had I was very perplexed why he wasn’t coming in earlier in the fourth quarter as the Pistons were sort of mounting a comeback he played 30 minutes in 17 seconds and they won those minutes by 10 and a 14-point loss that means in

18 minutes he didn’t play you can do quick math 24-point dominance from the Pacers in that stretch kahill will not only talk about that but Isaiah Stewart’s three- game suspension for his altercation with Drew Eubanks of the Suns lot of transactions the Pistons made too there’s just a lot of Pistons

Stuff kahill will have have it all for you on lock on Pistons here locked on Pacers we’ve talk about a couple guys who deserve praise and at the top of the non- tyes Albert list it’s T.J McConnell who just continues to have these maybe it’s more frequent than I’m about to

Give him credit for I would say once every 10 days games where he’s just vital to a win just absolutely would not have won the game without TJ McConnell levels of vital and this one was another one where the second unit was really good and he was a huge part of it 16

Points for T.J McConnell seven or 11 from the field uh he had all the little funky follows or most of them in this game but the big thing he did is two for two from Deep he made three All Season entering this game that’s huge uh he

Worked so hard on the shot last year had to feel good for him to knock both of those in oh by the way six rebounds five assists two Steals and a block and only one turnover that’ll work he was awesome in the nonh howbert Met they even paired

The two together for a tiny bit in the first half and that lineup went okay um so good stuff from T.J McConnell and when he plays well that usually means the rest of the bench plays well Isaiah Jackson didn’t miss a shot and got to the F line for six free throw attempts

Weirdly no rebounds the Pistons are a good rebounding team but they didn’t dominate the Pacers on the glass that much it was 42 to 41 Pacers on the boards and Isaiah Jackson just didn’t have any uh then bounce his way whatever he had 13 points he was plus 10 he

Looked really good Obi toppen drilling shots nine points for him hit two threes that was very nice for the Pacers Ben Shepard shot 60% from the field on his way to Seven Points Doug mcder to three the bench was humming and they dominated the Cade Cunningham last minutes and

That was kind of routinely bench minutes Obi toppen specifically was huge in that way plus 21 for Mr Obi toppin who was in for the Pacers big run for most of the first half because he was making good plays grabbing rebounds throwing dimes he had three assists hitting half his shots Obi

Toppen really good benj really good TJ McConnell the leader of it all and that’s not worthy for two reasons one is that Ben Maan started uh so the bench unit looked a little different I’d imagine if Ben madin was with the bench just given the minutes it seems like

Doug mcder would have been the odd man out he played the least of anybody who played and so assuming n Smith’s back we’ll see what that means but they’ve had so many different bench units since the SE yakum trade right a little over a month ago they had the SE yakum trade

They’ve had injuries guys going in and out for forever halton’s injury uh Turner missed games maen missed games um Jaylen Smith has missed games and did miss this game then McDermot came in and Shephard’s been in now I mean I guess he was only out once but like it’s all been

Changing and McConnell has been the Rock Solid can bring it all together guy and so big storyline coming in the second half whe for and I talked about this yesterday was can the bench be better well in game one again against the Pistons yes they were Pascal seak first

Five points for the Pacers and then really choppy inaccurate game with not a lot of awesome plays followed by the closing plays where he put the Pistons away in the fourth quarter it it doesn’t it sounds cooler than it was mostly because it was like a mostly decided game anyway uh but the

Pistons kept keeping it close and making an interesting in the final minutes and they got it as close as I want to say 14 which is again not close but that’s like possible 13 in the fourth quarter now that I’m looking it up and then cakam put it away four minutes to go

Step back jumper from mid-range boom next possession finger all at the basket boom 18-point lead with three and a half to go Pistons call timeout it was over and of course the Pacers end up winning by 14 despite not playing that well for the rest of the game but they didn’t

Need to because Pascal yakum put the game away and he would continue to score in the final minutes he got him up 20 with 219 to go with another layup that halberton assisted and sakam deserves credit for finally you know putting the game away for the Pacers who were having

A really ch behalf um and his offense came and went in this one so uh I kept wondering can they get him the ball more because he kept being guard ended up with you know shorter guys on him the Pistons do have some decent matchups to actually throw on sakam from a size

Perspective you know assar Thompson’s a good Defender so from Teo is actually a big player forer’s got some size but I kept seeing Oh Sak’s got a guard on him or a wing like they I think they need to get him the ball more in those scenarios

And in this game he ended up punishing a lot of those matchups and I hope uh that for siakam’s sake he can continue to get those because I think for him as he’s trying to figure out his spots that would be the best way for him to get

Those um Turner Rock Solid double double 13 and 11 nard Rock Solid on both ends with a bunch of stats the starting lineup that normally plays as starters was good Ben maen struggled from the field although he ended up with 15 points still he was five for 14 but got

To the line a bunch and was plus 11 like he wasn’t useless he had five assists he played a good team game but his shots didn’t fall so I’ve now named every player who played and told you something good they did and that’s because everybody did something well the Pacers

Did not defend well at all and I think that that is you know maybe the most concerning thing that came out of this game Pistons uh only had six offensive rebounds and they turned it over 15 times so their shot number ended up being five fewer than the Pacers and they

Also uh were terrible at the fat line for 18 in a 14-point game so a lot of stuff that was like unrelated to efficiency and shots just going in both teams shot a very similar percentage from Two and from three if the Pistons made their free throws and were just

Like not so sloppy with the ball 15 turnovers right and the offensive rebounds favored the Pacers as well like The Possession game was actually what won this one for the Pacers because their defense wasn’t good enough their defensive quality wasn’t good enough so many things suggest that this game could

Have been a Pistons win they played well enough to actually do that but they had so many sloppy moments the reason they didn’t win isn’t because the Pacers defense was good enough on a on a possession that ended with a piston shot they were playing well they were scoring

They were getting the shots they wanted they were getting to the fa line that’s concerning Kade Cunningham was their offense he had 30 and eight on 13 for 21 he was awesome when he was out of the game the Pistons were not playing good offense right they lost by 24 without

Him Marcus Sasser Shake Milton Malachi Flynn those were the guys running the second unit for the Pistons like their projects at best and they weren’t doing a good job and so the Pacers deserve credit for winning those minutes of course but getting smoked in the Cade

Minutes was not good they needed to be better on that end of the floor hopefully uh for them that film session they had about the third quarter can help because that was not a good game that was not a good defensive game for them and a big thing will and I talked

About yesterday for the second half of the season for the Pacers was can they find the magic that they had on defense when they were pretty good on that end for that really good stretch from mid December to mid January uh the answer was no for much of this game they had a

Timely defense I would say they got the stops so they needed to to like keep momentum and stay in the lead but not enough to be confident in how they played and what it can mean going forward so I’d say offensively really nice game from the Pacers rotation was

Good it was balanced Halbert looked good everybody played well gotta be happy with that that the best offensive team in the league or one of played well there but they have got to defend better they just have to Let’s close out to show with a little transactional thing I

Was talking to somebody about this not in the league just somebody who also does cap stuff uh this week and I really wanted to dig into the numbers and explain why Paul George to the Pacers is hinges on the th hinges on one thing that you haven’t really thought about it

Goldberg we crushed it um look I’m only talking about this because I just and many other people from Indie were part of conversations that or media scrums with Paul George where he talked a little bit about Indie uh at the All-Star break and we got reporting before the trade deadline um one from

Mark Stein about you know the Pacers being believed to have interest in pursuing PG and then I think Jake fiser in Yahoo sports um reported that uh halberton and George were intrig halberton and George were intrigued about the idea of playing together so there were some little connections there

And then at Allstar Weekend Paul George said um positive things about his time with the Pacers and being in Indie and that’s all great and people keep saying something to me about like the cap mechanics of them just signing Paul George the summer blah blah blah let’s

Talk about this and then I can explain why I don’t think there’s any chance this happens because of the rules and then we never talk about it again so the first thing to know about this is Paul George is extension knowledgeable right now the extension he could sign a few he

Can’t be traded because the trade Line’s over but he’s extension eligible right now and that’s important because the Clippers could just keep him he has 45.6 million on his deal for this year and 48.7 on a player option for next year so the place to start is the Clippers specific situation if

Paul George is not on their R if he Ops out and he’s not a part of their roster next season uh or he’s a free agent and they could resign him between kawhai Leonard and the other uh nine salaries that they have on their books they would be up to

120 million in salaries and that does not include Paul George and that does not include James Harden and there’s also you know some like Mason Plumley Brandon Boston stuff there whatever so that leaves them 58 million away from the first apron which we’ll talk about why that’s important in a second 58.5

Million away that would be the money that is is going to be relevant in a second so talking about what the Pacers side of this is people say well they could I’ve heard this from fans a lot well why can’t they sign Paul George and then resign Pascal seak they don’t have

The cap space to do so the Pacers next year without seum or mcder or toppen have 110 million guaranteed salaries right already that’s if halberton makes the the top end all NBA thing but still um you know it that wouldn’t go down too much and the salary Cap’s going to be

Like 141 million right so the starting spot would be the first error in the analysis of signed Paul George first and then Reign seak is with only 31 million of cap space that’s not enough for Paul George his player option next year is 48.7 so they can’t just do that they’d

Have to trade away other players for no salary return that’s already hard thing two is they can’t do the order of events that’s been described because to get to 31 million in cap space they would have to lose Pascal siakam’s cap hold and his bird rights and then they could not

Resign Pascal sakam it’s not possible for them to sign both it’s just not between Turner’s money and halton’s money and N Smith’s jumping money and some of their rookie scale deals becoming more expensive signing both players is literally not possible I I’m just explaining why I I had to humor it

So it have to be a trade it would have to be a trade and here is why this is all something that can actually be talked about even though I think the chances of it are less than 1% so Paul George has a player option next year and

That actually is the only reason that there’s an open window here if you’ll recall Last Summer the Wizards had Chris abs porzingis and he had a player option for this that covers the current season the one that’s currently being played and so with free agency coming he’s not

Resigning with the wizard so he could say I will opt out out and I will just sign somewhere I want or if you would help me by trading me to this specific team that I would like to go to I will opt in and then you get stuff and so the

Wizards are happy to get stuff and porzingis gets to go where he wants so free agency still the same for him but he has that extra option of going to locations he couldn’t go via signing by the trade and he can use the player

Options as a threat to do so all that he has to have is a place that he could actually sign if he opted out so if Paul George wanted to come to the Pacers that player option is the only reason that you can’t just immediately rule it out

Right because the p don’t have Camp space because he could say to the Clippers hey I’ll go sign in Philly unless I could opt in and then you could turn me to the Pacers how about that so that’s the only reason I’m not going to punt it to the moon immediately but what

I am gonna say is it’s still seems impossible like like logistically impossible so let’s go back to that earlier thing I was talking about with the aprons right so that’s again the Clippers would have about 58.5 million in apron space without James Harden and either Paul George or whatever they take

Back from Paul George if there’s a sign in trade so the sign in trade would be Paul George Ops out they have his bird rights and they do a signning trade the reason that that’s tricky uh is you know the one thing people have floated to me

Is what if they sign and trade Paul George and then four Pascal sakam also in a sign and trade well that would hardap which again is too dorky to explain in too much detail the Clippers meaning they could not spend more than that $178 million number so whatever

Sanka makes and whatever Harden makes would have to be less than 58.5 million combined if they resigned Harden that’s impossible so the double sign in trade is out because of the hard cap and that makes sense that doesn’t make sense to me anyway so since the Pacers can’t sign

Him and the double signing trade is out they have to trade for him on his current contract which is why the player option matters right because that is his current contract if he opts in and he has to opt in to be traded because right now his contract is technically expiring

You can’t trade expiring contracts so he would have to opt in and it would have to be an opt in situation where he has traded to the Pacers then so let’s talk about that now sanum can’t be in it in a signning trade for the reason we just explained probably can’t include other

Guys in assigned trade just to salary balance if you’re the Clippers you don’t want to be hard capped so the only thing that makes sense is an optin in trade for Paul George to get to the Pacers and the salary going back makes this extremely hard this year this league

Year Let’s Pretend the Ops in and it’s June 30th the league year hasn’t flipped yet the Pacer have to send the Clippers 36.3 million in salary to get Paul George and next League year that becomes 38.8 million in Sal that’s a big number right that’s a high number uh and the

Number goes up from year to year but also the salaries of the Pacers players go up from year to year and N Smith becomes easier to trade next League year because he’s no longer poison pill so the player option is the only reason that this is all possible because it

Gives Paul George The Leverage to be traded somewhere specific but getting the salaries is why I think this is just so hard because Halburn is not going to be in the trade we’ve already rolled out seaka in a signning trade so that leaves you know Miles Turner and Aaron n Smith and all

The Pacers young guys and none of them make more than 20 million so you’d have to trade three players at minimum at minimum if you’re the Pacers to Cobble together the salary n Smith plus Turner plus McConnell is barely enough salary and why would the Clippers

Want that they would like to be good so you’d have to include like Ben Ma’s money or jarus Walker’s money instead of someone else’s but there are so many combinations where the money doesn’t work that would probably to be like four players and then if you’re the Clippers

You’re in a situation where you have too many players on your roster you have to cut someone else so maybe you’d want to include them in the trade it’s just too complicated it’s just impossible and I can’t believe I even had to run through all this and dive into the apron rules

Because I think Paul George is just going to sign an extension with the clipper at some point anyway but I wanted to explain why even though there was reporting about it he talked nicely about Indie that I just doesn’t it doesn’t make sense unless something so crazy happens this summer where like

Pascal seak says there’s no I’m coming back and James Harden says he’s not going back to the Clippers or unless Paul George demands specifically a trade to the Pacers and then they could Cobble together some weird crazy like Miles Turner has to be in it it’s imp it’s so hard to do

Without his money so it it’s it’s just it’s just so challenging to see how this all comes together obviously Miles Turner would not be a holdup if this was like a dreamy dream scenario the Pacers could actually do but it just doesn’t make sense there’s too many rules in the

Way there’s too many salaries that already make this impossible and I wanted to humor it because I wanted to see if it was possible and I think the fact that he has that player option means like technically yes but logistically no that is the end of me

Talking about Paul George to the Pacers and there are drastic changes to the situations of either team Pacers Pistons was fun we have to talk basketball the only other transactional stuff we’ll probably talk about the rest of the season is either the buyout Market or moves the Pacers actually do make

Eventually they’ll sign somebody uh or do stuff with their two-ways or something we’ll see and we’ll cover it all here on the lock down Pacers podcast Sunday Pacers play the Mavs we’ll talk about that on Monday show they have a game that night as well so we’ll preview

That lots of fun basketball stuff coming heading into next week as February closes down hope you guys enjoyed Today’s Show and this week of coverage between the games and the All-Star break lots of fun stuff to get to nice that the regular season is back happy to be

Talking about actual games again and we will continue to do so going forward I’m on Twitter at Tony R East this show is at lock on Pacers everybody have a wonderful weekend we will see you soon

The Indiana Pacers got a win to start their post-All-Star break play by toppling the Detroit Pistons. How did the Pacers get it done? And why was this game so encouraging for Tyrese Haliburton? 1. PG is from LA and he just 💩 on our weather once here at the All-Star. Said it should only be held in warm cities. I wouldn't want a "⭐" from LA.

  2. PG needs to play on one of the 29 teams that aren't called Pacers. Let's focus on beating the Mavs. Thank you Tony, keep up the good work

  3. If pg wants to come he will come and tuner is in a contract yr next season away but I don’t see it happening

  4. We had exact same amount of rebounds and won. Funny how taking care of ball gives you a better chance at winning. Basketball is still just basketball, nothing too complicated.
