Boston may not have Miami’s grit (lol Jaylen Brown) but holy shit their team is stacked this year.

If anyone disagrees, this isn’t even an opinion, it’s a statement of fact
2020: Miami won the east
2021: Bucks won the east, beat Miami on the way
2022: Celtics won the east after beating us in ECF game 7
2023: Miami won the east

It feels like copium to have this attitude this year, but at the same time I wanna say our chances have rarely been better. Philly is either immediately out without Embiid or has to lean fully into him which hasnt worked before. Knicks have been beaten before and I hope OG wont turn the tides, especially since we improved, too. Milwaukee has an out of form Dame, no defense and Doc. Cleveland has struggled with a team playing with much grit last year and I dont trust their guard rotation defensively at all. Boston is giga-stacked, but they still have this tendency of almost exclusively settling for threes in tough and close games instead of making plays in the halfcourt which was basically their bane the last two years if not for longer. Talk to me, am I making sense. I’m aware these are just basic talking points

Frankly, the same could be said of the Celtics.
