Not only is Vooch having a historically bad 3 point shooting season, he’s one of the worst finishing centers around the rim. 22 points on 19 shots last night with 0 stocks and 4 turnovers.
We really need to upgrade our center rotation, especially considering Vuc and Drummond are 33 and 30. Good thing we signed Vuc to a 3yr/60mil contract!

The best litmus test for how much a fan of this team actually understands the game and league is if they understood 20mil a year for Vuc was a MASSIVE overpay.
I want to preface his by saying I know some balls are just uncatchable like that rocket Coby tossed late before the break
BUT
Vooch as much as he’s missed bunnies this year which we can track has hands made of stone when it comes to taking in passes.
It’s been one of the most infuriating things watching Coby or Ayo feed him a great bounce pass for Vooch just to not catch it and then turn it over.
Anytime Drummond drives at the basket, I hold my breath and hope it goes in the hoop.
Vooch is garbage. Empty calories. 22 points and 13 rebounds in a 10-point loss is his bread&butter.
I feel better about going nuts when vuc just stands at the top of the key with his hands open expecting the ball. Clearly it’s not working. Someone needs to do something man
Vooch is just not good rn and I’m tired of the Booch defenders. He’s a good passer I’ll give him that. I really like his playmaking but that’s all I’m giving. And we don’t need our center playmaking. Every other aspect of his game is shit right now.
You wanna call him a double double machine with his rebounding? He’s the only player other than Drum who’s taller than 6 fucking 7 on this team. That dude better be getting double digit rebounds tf? His rebounding really is overrated. Drummond is a good rebounder. Great. He’s how you rebound the fuckin ball.
I knew that contract was an overpay from the start and now people are starting to realize. You still have people saying it isn’t that bad but I don’t see how you can justify it given how he’s been playing and his age. I wanted him on like 12-15 mil a year max. 18-20 is disgusting. And the crazy thing is we prob didn’t even have to get him for that much. No one wanted him so we prob could’ve got him for like 10 because he’d have nowhere else to go lol.
Drummond isn’t good on offense either but I’m ok with it cuz he makes up for it with his pretty good defense and amazing rebounding. Ya know, the center positions job? He always gives effort too. Vuc is and always has been an empty stat player that doesn’t care.
I remember in a pre game thread at the start of last year someone said “I’ll be at the UC rocking a Vuc jersey tonight. Shout out all the Vuc jersey owners who actually know basketball.” That comment stuck with me lol.
You know who I’d rather have? Wendell Carter Jr. (and Frank Wagner).

I wasn’t upset with the contract when he re-signed – not that I was happy about it either – but I guess the Bulls can always find a way to let me down.
