I know this is East specific so I agree. If Boston stays healthy, it’s to hard to see anybody else beating them in a 7 game series.

Now if you were to include the West in a potential Finals matchup, that question gets a bit more complicated.

  2. Hope they match up we need that rematch fuck Miami

I feel like Denver, Miami, and maybe the bucks are the only teams that could take us

If the Knicks get fully healthy, I don’t want them in a playoff series. They will be highly irritating.

CLE is weird. Are they a regular-season juggernaut and playoff pushover (if they collectively don’t shoot the lights out)? Or are they better than I’ve given them credit for? Bears watching. They might be a problem.

The Heat are Jason or Freddy and even when we think they’re dead, they’re not, they’re alive somehow and still capable of killing.

The Bucks didn’t really worry me before Doc and now with Five Fouls of Tillman to throw at Giannis, they shouldn’t be much of a hurdle.

    Fuck the Sixers.

  5. Guys, what do you think is the chance to win if all healty, vs if kp is out? In theory, they got to finals without kp, so kp only to let them get a title, right?

Miami’s busted. I hope the Celtics face them so they can sweep those sorry bums personally.

I know their record isn’t the best recently but the Bucks still are formidable. Dame and Giannis are very tough to beat, they are currently torching Philly without Middleton and just beat the 1 seed at home

I’m not really afraid of losing as much as getting banged up.

Miami **will try to injure us** if we meet them in the playoffs

    This is my only concern

I don’t even think about the Heat much less fear them. It’s a fun rivalry though I’ll give him that.

  11. Only way Heat have a prayer against us this year is if they injure someone important

We will wipe our ass with the Heat if we play them in the playoffs

Not scared of Miami. Last year I was. Not this year with Holiday and Tingus Pingus. Only Denver scares me

Is it me or with this years Celtics team, I don’t have any worry when we are down or in close games. Like it just seems like destiny with the additions of Kristaps and Jrue. They bring a level of calmness and poise that we haven’t seen since our 08’ champs. If everyone stays healthy, the heat aren’t beating us this year. ☘️☘️

I feel like I shouldn’t be afraid of the Heat this year, but the last few years have me wary of them. The Heat are a scrappy team, I won’t feel totally secure until they’re eliminated or we beat them.

The issue is “heat culture” which is just the refs swallowing their whistle and pretending the heat are allowed to hand check, guard body to body up and down the court and set moving screens to release shooter; they just aren’t reffed the same way. They get that underdog narrative whistle.

Add that to fuckery of random unheard of dudes shooting 50-60% from 3, Jimmy going super saiyen and Spos understanding of how to coach against us and it’s nightmare.

Our Trump card is KP. He pretty much has to be able to consistently hit the open 3 and mid range to break that zone and force bam to creep out, letting Jayson and Jaylen free roam to the basket. If he’s hesitant/injured/bad that series we probably don’t win.

Best bet is the Heat rise the ranking(which they will.) and they climb the gauntlet of Knicks and Bucks for us and we face them in the ECF after breezing through our first two series fresh and healthy.

Only way Celtics lose is if Caleb Martin turns into prime Klay Thompson again. 50/50 odds on that one.

  18. Tatum-Better

I’m only worried about the clippers and nuggets tbh.

Miami we SHOULD beat but we should’ve beat them last year aswell.

The Bucks would have the best player in the series but… they’ve got Doc

  19. Looieanthony

Miami makes me uneasy at playoff time. You know.

  20. SnooChickens9571

If Indiana pushes seven game series I’d be nervous. They are. Scoring machine when healthy.

  21. 2kballislife

Miami is trash not scared of them one bit. People have ptsd they aren’t a good basketball team. If we’re healthy Celts in 5 or 6. I know people have said that in years past but no, this team is different.
