Love podz, but the nuggets are not a matchup for him. Kerr played him 30+ minutes Tonight.
Steph, as usual, shit the bed against the nuggets. If your star player doesn’t show up against a team like the nuggets, you will never win
This team can hang with the big dogs, issue is the sustainability.
This was just like the Clippers game, when the best teams switch up a gear, we can’t keep up anymore. Until we figure this out, we’ll keep getting punked by the best teams even if we make the playoffs.
Watching the Nuggets do to dubs what dubs did to other teams in past years sucks ngl lol
They flipped that game by 30 points at home. So disappointing.
The crowd was disappointingly quiet tonight for a pretty big game.
Their terrible turnover habits are just magnified against great teams. The way Looney is playing this year hurts them as well
Steph needs to figure out Denver
I know we played the Nuggets but this was a very bad loss
All the teams ahead of us lost and we couldn’t take advantage
Klay heater in the first half was great to see.
That’s the team to beat in the West. On to the next one.
Tallest warriors starter is 6’9”. Tallest player is saric at 6’10” and that man couldn’t guard a 7 year old. This is honestly an organizational failure not having a true big man.
we can blame the stagnant offense or the leaky defense but honestly, the Nuggets are just a better team right now and better teams make you look like that when you play them.
Draymond played like trash on offense. Dude needs to just attack Jokic sometimes and force them to call fouls. He had way too many turnovers
Steph had a stinker, but dude can we really not play our best player big minutes in these important matchups???
Fix the size issue for the next season..
Imagine a world where Steph shows up when Klay and Wigs play well?
Also, nothing worse than investing your Sunday for this shit: up by 16 and lose by double digits. Absolutely unacceptable
it was over after the 1st half when, after all the heroics from klay and everything going our way, the game was still tied.
Hey, I’m starting to think the Nuggets are a better constructed team.
Does blowing leads make anyone else want to throw up?
It wasn’t a loss I wanted but one I did expect, sadly.
Probably should have called a timeout during the 14-0 run by the Nuggets LOL
Dario is unplayable and we have Moody rotting on the bench again, wtf is this
We do not much up well against Denver. Which is scary since is our likely outcome if make the first round.
Terrible matchup for Podz. Klay needs to start in these games.
42 points in the 2nd half is pretty ass in 2024 NBA
The size difference between both frontcourts is crazy. They’re huge and execute to perfection offensively. Just a much better team, where the fit amongst the starting five is flawless.
Also, having Klay on Jokic late in the fourth should serve as a message to Dunleavy. The roster is extremely small, with Looney and Saric being unplayable. They also lack any sort of self creation and consistent scoring other than Steph.
Draymond tried to pass it to Gp2 like three times instead of laying it up. Ugh. Jokic is too smart for that, he knows Dray don’t want to shoot.
Jokic completely outsmarted Dray in a ton of plays today
Steph going to score about 10 threes against wizards on Tuesday normally happens when he has an awful night.
Warriors are just a Decent playoff team. They don’t have the focus nor firepower anymore. So please stop with the title contender non sense we are not that anymore.
STOP. BLOWING. LEADS.
I hope one of the reporters ask what’s Kerr’s plan in the playoffs if they face the Nuggets? Small ball is not going to work.
What? Steve’s fault again when your star players don’t show up?
Fumbling passes, messing up dribbles and missing fts is Kerr’s responsibility again?
The Nuggets figured out a way to contain Steph (tbh he also missed a few open looks as well, just all around a bad game from him). Gotta draw up new plays if we want to go far in the playoffs. Our lack of size is obviously another factor in us losing this winnable game.
Turns out it’s rlly hard to beat the champs when everyone shoots pretty poorly and you don’t have the size to compensate. Who woulda thunk it
For the life of me, I can’t understand why TJD plays so little. Kerr needs to give the Dray/TJD a chance.
Both could benefitiate a lot from having each other defensively, and offensively the spacing shouldn’t be much of an issue with shooters around them, since TJD is a lob threat and can score inside.
rough loss. We probably will not beat denver in a best of 7. But keep the hopes high for the next stretch of games ✊we still have a good chance of getting into playoffs
This team has too many holes they don’t address. They suck against elite teams
Ehhhh. On to the next, I guess, but common sense is to call a timeout somewhere during a 14-0 run. Hoping we don’t face Denver in the first round if we make it—defending champions are defending champions for a reason
Denver really amped up the D for the second half, there were multiple times JK trying to cut and Denver just comes in like elevator doors closing in front to block him out.
I think this is a loss I would take against a very good team. The Denver Nuggets are a scary team, they weathered a barrage from Klay in the first half – and pulled back that lead. As a team, they have that championship mentality and belief and just don’t give up. The Warriors would benefit from losing now and see how far they have to grow as a team – rather than in the middle of a playoff series.
It’s fine – they are learning, and it’s great to see that the team seems to have picked up the pieces of the puzzle lately. Also, Steph seems to just struggle against the Nuggets unfortunately.
Poor Moses
This loss is extra painful because the Lakers lost tonight and a win would’ve moved up the standings.
Generally i feel like any team in the 1-9 seed in the West would be tough for the Duns but honestly, I feel like the Warriors will have a better chance against the young and inexperienced teams versus veteran teams.
Both LA teams, Phoenix and Denver are duels to the death. A matchup against OKC, Kings, Mavs, or Wolves will still be tough but I like the Dubs chances better.
However, the Dubs must get into the playoffs first obviously
There’s a lot of bad shit you can point to as to why we lost but at the end of the day this fucking guy dropped 32/16/16. Nothing you can do about that but brush it off and knock out these pretenders in the East
They needed jokic to play 37 minutes to secure the win when he averages what like 32? Just thought that was interesting.
Saric is unplayable. Wish he was Otto. Or just play Moody. Ffs Kerr.
There are levels to this shit and clearly any good team has the upper hand. This was a good wake up call, don’t get your hopes up this year, we’re mid and nothing more.
this was pretty much the benchmark game for the dubs and they failed miserably (both teams relatively healthy). the nuggets are tailor made to counter whatever the dubs throw out there. also, when the nuggets decide to shut you down and play defense, they do it. pretty reminiscent of the dubs hay day
also jokic is just so damn good. outsmarted dray the entire game too
YeH we’re not beating nuggets in a 7 game series when we won’t even have home court.
And this is why I’ve been saying I think we have a good shot to beat everyone in the first round. Except Denver.
As much as I like BP, hopefully more and more people start realizing that our ceiling is low if he’s a starter.
