We are now 50 something games into this year’s NBA season we just got past the allstar break and we are now at a point in this season where for a bunch of teams in the NBA every single game down the stretch is going to matter whether it’s a team trying to maintain home

Court advantage for a majority of the playoffs whether it’s a team trying to keep their guaranteed spot on the playoffs which is the six through the first seed and then we also got the teams from 10th through really really 11 through seventh place trying to get into that playing tournament so there’s going

To be a lot of teams fighting for something down the stretch of this season and the Miami Heat are one of those teams now they’re seventh place in the Eastern Conference and I think they’re in a really good spot they’re at the top of the playin Tournament

Standings and if they heat up they can make a play and even get all the way to the third seed in the Eastern Conference now when it comes to these type of situations and we get down to crunch time in the NBA season I don’t think there’s many teams that are better

Better equipped for the Miami Heat than these type of situations when it comes to schemes when it comes to personnel and when it comes to coaching I think the Miami Heat I think they are the ideal team for these type of situations now before we get into what makes the

Miami Heat so tough to beat when basketball gets a little bit more serious let’s talk about how they’ve been doing as of late as we just talked about they sit at seventh place in the Eastern Conference they’ve won seven out of their last 10 ball games and they’re

On a on a back to back and they get the upset both times so um I just talked about how important that was to get that momentum going into Allstar Weekend and it looks like that momentum has carried over into after the allstar break as well once again the Miami Heat find

Themselves as underdogs on the road against a really good New Orleans Pelicans team but they do come out come out on top and get the Victory and defy the odds once again and another great sign for the Miami Heat after this game Jimmy Butler he was having a terrific

Game before he got ejected um 23. 7 to 12 from the field on just 27 minutes of play he was probably going to have a great fourth quarter as well but he got ejected due to that scuffle but after the game Jimmy Butler he took some pictures and some videos from the game

From the scuffle he posted and his caption said it’s that time and I think all the no all the Miami Heat fans know what that means we’re at that point in that season where Jimmy Butler and not just him but the Miami Heat they’re going to elevate their play um they’re

Going to elevate their play and take it to a new level down the stretch of this season and then also into the NBA Playoffs so when it comes to the Miami Heat um being better equipped than a lot of teams coming down the stretch of the

Season in my opinion um I think there’s a bunch of different factors my favorite factor is what they can do defensively I think the Miami Heat is obviously a part of their identity and it’s been a part of their identity for the last few years now but they can really win ball games

Just off keeping teams in the half court and rebounding the basketball really well and I think that’s going to play a huge role in regular season basketball now when we look at the Miami Heat defense I think we got to start with Coach Eric poer because I think he does

A great job of coming up with game plans and schemes defensively for the Miami Heat and I think one of the most underrated things that he’s been able to do is to um keep guys like Duncan Robinson and Tyler Hero on the floor without having them being attacked too

Much on the defensive side of the ball I think he’s done a great job of implementing zones to keep the Miami Heat as one of the top defensive teams in the NBA but also keep their guys that are a little bit weaker on the defensive

Side of the ball on the court so I think Eric sposta he is a genius when it comes to that just switching things up and try and doing the best possible thing to take away the opposing team’s best player or their best way of scoring the basketball then also I think it helps

When you have some really skillful players on the defensive side of the ball and one of those guy one of the guys who I think is just so underrated in the NBA is bam adabo I love watching him play and he’s one of those rare players in the league that you just love

Watching him um play defensively I think he does some unreal stuff on the defensive side of the basketball and for whatever reason is not talked about that much but I think um when it comes to defenders in the NBA especially at the big man spot I think is him and Anthony

Davis and then is everyone else because they can do um some things that just really no big we haven’t really seen from no bigs in NBA history and with um bam adabo he’s just really good at U playing both the the the ball handler and the screener in pick and roll

Situations he is so good at hedging getting out and and preventing that perimeter shot and then getting back and defending the realm I think nobody does that better than him and Anthony Davis and then B has been great rebounding the basketball this season and we all know

He’s a stellar rim protector and then also you have Jimmy Butler who before he came the superstar that he is he was um known for in his game was predicated to being a great on ball Defender so you have these two guys who Excel individually on defense and then you

Have a bunch of other guys that are brought in to the we’re going to play defense uh mindset by ER pooser so all of that just leads to the Miami Heat when it comes to these important games and when when they’re playing for something that matters like the seating

And trying to avoid or stay in the playing tournament um that defense is going to be a huge advantage in these types of ball games and another advantage that the Miami Heat are going to have over a lot of teams is that they have a top 10 player on their roster and

That top 10 player is Jimmy Butler and I know when it comes to top 10 players in the NBA whether there’s Bleacher Report whether it’s by ESPN hell even when it’s by the fans on the internet Jimmy Butler never gets put in that top 10 and that’s

Really because we we we see two different players in the regular season and in the playoffs but I think based off what Jimmy Butler has has been doing in the postseason since he’s been on the Miami Heat it’s hard for me to pick 10 player pick 10 players in the NBA that

Are better than him and I think last season really really solidified and stamped that I think what he was doing in the playoffs last season was crazy against the Milwaukee Bucks the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics and my favorite game from that playoff run um I

Can’t remember which game it was against the Boston Celtics but the Miami he were losing in the fourth quarter and then you know Grant Williams and Jimmy Butler got into it and then Jimmy Butler went on the one went on one of the craziest personal runs I’ve ever seen and I’ve

Never really witnessed um anything like that so I thought that was special and I think it’s hard not to have Jimmy Butler in that um in that top 10 discussion but nonetheless with Jimmy Butler the Miami Heat are getting the guy getting a guy that that has great leadership on and

Off the court and then also he can take over a ball game on both the offensive and the defensive side of the ball whether it’s locking up the opposing team’s best player whether it’s getting timely Steals and forcing turnovers and then on the offensive side of the ball

When Jimmy Butler is hot he’s one of the best players in all of the NBA everything starts to fall for him uh he’s knocking down three-point shots mid-range shot is going in everything is in the everything in the post is going in and then also when Jimmy Butler gets

Hot the most his most Unstoppable move is that punk fake whenever he’s hot it’s like Defenders always jump at his punk fake so he’s very fun to watch when he catches fire and I think him being as good as he is is going to put the Miami

Heat at a um at an advantage against a lot of their opponents going down the stretch so those are really my two biggest reasons right there Jimmy Butler and then their ability to lock in at such a high level on the defense is H of the ball and then some other things to

Consider as well is that the Miami Heat this is a very experienced ball Club coach Eric sper Jimmy Butler bam adabo Tyler herrow Kevin Love Duncan Robinson a lot of these guys have seen these situations before and they know how to handle this type of situation as far as

Um competing down the stretch and then another thing with the Miami he they have a lot of depth on this team when we get outside of their best three players with Tyler herro bam adabo and Jimmy Butler they have high quality role players I know Terry rier is weak to

Week with his injury right now but they have Terry rier they have Hami H quiz Jr they have Josh Richardson Duncan Robinson Kevin Love um Hayward heith all of these guys that um play at such a high level as role players in the NBA so I think coming down the stretch the

Miami Heat they can definitely make a run and I don’t see them playing I’m going to give my prediction I don’t see them being in the playing tournament I think they’re too good I think we’re going to see them with a guaranteed spot in the playoffs and nonetheless the
