Alperen Sengun is ranked 4th on-ball gravity among centers. Defensive struggles aside, we should be questioning the team for his recent offensive struggles.

100% agreed
He had 6 turnovers versus the Thunder.
In 16 seasons EG put up worse 3p% only out of 4 seasons compared to JG, which includes one of the rockets tanking years and a season where he played 9 games. Yet, somehow, Jalen is too good to come off the bench.
Sengun needs reliable shooters badly. We suck so bad at creating space that teams will just camp around ALP all game.
He’s getting double teamed so often now. Also he didn’t have teammates that can pass him the ball without getting altered by opponents. He needs to play with a ball handler who can use him as decoy and drive into the lane to score. Amen is our best bet. If he can shoot better than 33% from 3 then it will make Sengun life easier.
We need shooters and a players that can make proper passes/entry pass for him to set up and operate. We currently suck at both.
There is not a good reason for us to not be running our offense through AlP, imo.
