This dude has had one of the worst experiences in the NBA for an all-star caliber player. You can imagine moving from NY to Dallas thinking, hey this should work out between him and Luka.
Imagine they had Luka, Porzingis, and Brunson but couldn’t make it work. Brunson is probably never the player he is today living in Luka’s shadow and that is why I don’t think Luka is every going to win anything. I don’t think he elevates other players.
KP gets banished to the NBA’s basement and finally gets out. Of course, he is happy. And we’re happy to have him.
