  4. I don't get it. NBA seems to be the laziest pro basketball league in the world when it comes to guarding the last possession of a quarter. The standard play in situations like this is always full-court press. In the NBA it seems like they just don't care. They never bother denying the inbound pass and the ball handler can almost always easily dribble to near half court or sometimes even near three point line before taking the shot. This is just head-scratching to me. In this case the Mavs could've made the shot attempt way harder if PJ hadn't just run right to the other half court for absolutely nothing.
