I mean Perk is right. Boston is lucky they play in the Eastern conference where is the Western conference is harder and loaded. Boston are like the Dodgers. Constantly excellent in the regular season but zero faith in the playoffs and the large season for that is because of Tatum. He’s too inconsistent, takes too many dumb shots, too predictable from 3s. Boston kinda reminds me of the rockets teams with Harden. The Celtics aren’t going to win the championship. They lose to the Bucks in the 3rd round or lose to the Nuggets in the finals
They would be in that 6-9 spot fighting for a playoff spot like the other teams down there. The mavs are like 10 games over .500 and are in the playoffs in. The west is extremely stacked.
Nuggets are the only team that genuinely worry me as a Celtics fan. Heat also have to be respected to an extent

9 seed lakers would be the 9 warriors and jazz would only move up 1 the west might be a little deeper but it isn’t that noticeable to discount Boston season also 3/4 losses were without key players

Nuggets are the only team Boston should worry about. People are over crediting the young west teams that are inexperienced in the post season. Even if you want to argue that the Wolves, Clippers or Thunder are better than Boston on paper, in reality, the playoffs are a different beast and despite not winning the finals, Boston is probably the scariest team to have to face in a play-off series.

Once again as good as you are in the eastern conference your 9.5 times out of ten not better than the top teams in the west. Eastern conference teams should be docked a half point per point made against fellow eastern conference teams because they are so trash when compared to the west.

If we look right now their record in their conference is 0.846 and their record against west teams is 0.700 (14-6) still great but then you take in consideration thag if they played against this now we see in fact stronger teams your players would be way more tired so all games would be harder. So I can guarantee with 90% certainty that if they were in the west they would have recorded off 40-19 which puts them on 4th seed
The Celtics are literally 1-1 against the clippers and Timberwolves. With 1 game vs the nuggets and 1 against the Thunder. At least mention that
