Miami Heat beat Utah Jazz: Alex Toledo takes five

Welcome back to five on the floor quick takes after a heat 126 home win over the Utah Jazz the lowly Utah Jazz um big win for the heat not a big one in the sense of big game but just to kind of keep the momentum going a game that was back and

Forth all game long pretty close throughout the throughout the game you know there was a point where the Jazz went up 11 I think early in the second half but other than that the game was back and forth kind of all game long and I felt that the Heat we’re just a much

Better team in the fourth quarter the big story from this game of course was Jimmy Butler who put up 37 points it’s like like we’ve been saying it’s that time of the year it’s March it’s springtime all of that stuff Jimmy I mean Jimmy 37 points 12 of 19 shooting

11 free throw attempts was just manhandling these jazz players out there big or small I thought he had a fantastic game one of his best games of the Season just an one after an one fantastic game for Jimmy bam great game for bam I thought he was he was

Physically just kind of imposing his will on both ends of the floor he finished with 23 points on 10 to 15 shooting seven rebounds three assists played his game did a fantastic job I think of getting in the way for a lot of these jazz players they just weren’t

Able to I think as the game went on weren’t able to get into much of a rhythm and I thought bam was a big part of that haime Caleb big contributions for them both of them had really nice games I thought um overall the team defense was kind of

Lacking I thought it was you were just kind of letting the Jazz do too much get away with too much earlier in that game and I felt as the game went on they kind of you know B got the hatches down they got everything right kind of figured out

What they needed to do and really they just held the Jazz to a much lower offensive rating than they did at the end of the day and overall the heat finished with a I believe a 130 overall offensive rating and Elite one as well in the half court which is obviously not

Something you see often you know that jazz defense is a little bit poest now especially after some of the guys they traded at the deadline they’re just you know that’s not a team that’s competing for a playoff spot anymore they’re just kind of you know in the middle right now

And I think the heat did what they needed to do right like I I I won’t say that it was a perfect game again the defense to me the heat defense was not good enough throughout most of this game but they pulled it out another thing I

Wanted to say Terry nice bounce back game from him I I I don’t think he he had a bad game in Denver but those air balls definitely stood out to anybody who was watching that game and I thought tonight you know I believe he finished with eight assists two turnovers just

You know did a nice job making plays for others I thought he did he had a pretty good game himself I think he finished five of nine shooting it was a couple of uneven plays like times where he would catch the ball and you know the advantage was created and then he would

Hold it and kind of you know ruin the advantage the advantage is gone at that point cuz the def Defender has already recovered and you know things like that that bother a coach that bother anybody watching but other than that I thought Terry had a nice game you know Duncan I

Thought had a pretty good game as well and the offense was flowing all game that was never really the problem it was the defense and like I said they battened down the hatches in the second half against the Jazz there specifically in the fourth quarter and just outplayed

Them at the end so yeah very nice win for the heat um were able to stop getting dominated on the offensive boards like they were in the first half and not only that the Jazz only had one turnover in the first half they finished the game with I think 10 so yeah just

Much better defense if the game went on the heat took care of business it doesn’t matter how they did it a win is a win and there you go that’s that’s the end of it 126 120 Heat win over the Jazz I’m going to rush over to the heat media

Room now to go cover them thank you guys make sure to tune in the new five on floor episode coming shortly and yeah thank you thank you for tuning in have a good one
