For Denver, Nikola Jokic led the way with 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists aided by Michael Porter Jr. (25 points (5 3PM), 10 rebounds, 4 assists) and Jamal Murray (24 points, 6 rebounds, and 11 assists) in the victory. Lebron James recorded 26 points, 9 assists, and 3 steals with Rui Hachimura tallying 23 points and Austin Reaves putting up 19 points and 14 assists for Los Angeles. Denver improves to 42-19 on the season, while Los Angeles moves to 33-29 with the loss.
With his 9th point of the first half, Lebron James reached 40K career points, and became the 1st player in NBA history to reach that benchmark.
