Lmfao no wonder this dude gets no love for MVP they don’t even pay attention.

They literally don’t watch the games. They just talk out of their ass.
crazedtortoise
the nba tv commentators were so bad yesterday at one point they called us the blazers
Ghetto_Cyclops
I caught it live too. I think she just misspoke. Meant to say its his third missed game this season instead, whilst also thinking about us winning six straight; Freudian slip.

ESPN has us for our next game against GSW too. That’ll be Giannis’s 12th straight game he’ll miss with his achilles injury.

So let me get this straight; they have no problem reporting the nitty gritty of non-stories but when it comes to ACTUAL reporting they fall flat on BASIC fact checking????
hiptones
Imagine being able to score as many points as he did in the 2 games against Charlotte without even playing!!!! Is there any doubt he’s MVP?

Why do you even bother with First Take or ESPN in general? There are way better places for NBA discourse and to be honest, Reddit isn’t even that greats

ESPN is and has been a joke for years. Forget basic fact checking, most of their content is centered around hot take culture and rage bait. Look elsewhere for sports journalism

You have to realize, any viewing platform for the NBA is going to take a pro-nba stance, as they are investing in the NBA when they broadcast their content.
The NBA having one of its best players in a small market is not good for the NBA. The NBA having a team in a small market is not good for the NBA. All national media is going to have a baseline negative attitude towards Giannis and the Bucks until both leave.
They want their best teams and best players in front of as many eyes as they can. Milwaukee’s existence is counter intuitive to that.
Dont take it personally.

For a split second I thought this was from the future and Giannis had missed all the games up to when we play the Clippers next

ESPN sucks ass now, just a bunch of TMZ-esque, pseudo sports “journalism” hot takes
Bflo19
Misses third straight game with an achilles? He’s only missed like, 3 or 4 games ALL YEAR.
PsychologicalArt8242
You think the east coast r-words are gonna report about a no coast superstar with accuracy?

Seriously pissed me off when she first said that. It’s their job to give correct info. FESPN & FKL
