Jaylen Brown: “Today matters. Whether everybody wants to throw it away or not, we’ve got to look at the film and address some stuff, because that matters.”
For the most part the Celtics thought this loss could be beneficial. Jaylen Brown was certainly the most frustrated by it.

At least Jaylen seems to get it. Feels like half this sub is cool with blowing 20 point leads tbh
Right attitude
This is the correct mindset for a player/team to have. Whether everybody wants to throw it away or not, it doesn’t matter because fans have no control over anything—it’s up to the players/team to grow and prove themselves in the future
Should play the Wade putback 100 times in the film session.
Who wasn’t crashing the boards on that last Cavs play and just standing there watching things happen?
Funny how Jaylen seems to realize what this is about while a lot of Celtics fans would rather write this off as a fluke thing due to a role player on the opposing team getting randomly hot. Or blame it on the refs. Jaylen gets it, and admitting there’s an issue is the first step towards addressing the issue. There’s a pattern in our pressure losses over the last three seasons, sometimes it has come to bite us in key playoff games, other times in random games during the regular season. But realizing it, and reflecting on it to learn why it has happened is the first steps in correcting the behavior. Good on him. *EDIT* I don’t know why you all hate Jaylen so much, but it’s disappointing.
Oh it does? Cause according to all the insufferable condescending twats in this sub who get snarky after any loss and won’t allow any criticism, losses mean nothing and you’re just a doomer if you think so. So I guess Brown is a doomer now according to this sub.
This loss IRRITATED jaylen’s soul and I like that. Good leaders aren’t only there to pat everyone on the back when they’re up 50 — you also have to be able to speak your mind and even call out your teammates (out of love and respect) when you feel things are going wrong. He’s shown a lot of maturity and growth this year, imo.
Good attitude here. Love it. Don’t get complacent
Translation: I should have been in the game earlier. My coach sucks.
If this means we get another 11 game win streak, I’m all for it.
Next time the same situation, I’m betting my life it’s gonna be the exact same Tatum dribbling the clock down and attempts a jumper.
