The fact that not a single cav dropped 20 or more is wild to me

garland fell off so hard from last szn maybe it’s because of injuries idk but this not the same player
Despite their best efforts the Hawks still managed to pull out a win.
Really though we were playing well and you could see losing JJ took the wind out of their sails. And they still managed to turn it around when it really mattered. Lot to be proud of here even if it was ugly.
I think this is 4-2 without Trae. It’s nice to see our guys step up. Hopefully JJ can come back soon and the team is in a better place when Trae is added back into the mix.
Bogi mentioned some issues with his fingers….the last few games…

We need serious conversation about DJ, he just doesn’t want to be here. All he wants to do is drive to the mid range and take shots.
Seems like this whole 6 man hunter thing isn’t going too rough so far, it’ll be interesting to see how it goes with a full healthy roster and a large sample size.
A win like this one feels hollow. The cavaliers were injured and we saw Jalen go down with an injury. It wasn’t like we might see full strength from our roster and there’s not much chance that we beat a contender if they aren’t beat to hell too.

I can say with 99% confidence JJ had one of those ankle sprains that are so bad you hear it rip (technically, all ankle sprains have “rips” in them)
Shut him down, even if he’s able to come back in 2-3 weeks (not likely based off his reaction) let’s just call it a season. Let Kobe heal up and get Lundy and Gueye run on a nightly basis once they heal up.
Next step for JJ is continuing to work on his finesse/in-between game. He also needs to be more aggressive, he could’ve been a 18-20pt already this year if he took a few more looks that be decides to pass up, sometimes to someone who’s not even necessarily open.
