[Andrews] Kerr on TJD: “I know I can trust him. We’ve got to get Trayce more minutes to get him ready for the playoffs because he needs reps, he needs more time.” Kerr says as they find more playing time for Jackson-Davis, they’ll cut their rotation down from 11 to 9/10.

  1. Rotation is at 11 not sure how they get to 9 whilst keeping TJD unless they cut both moody and looney

Starters + GP2 Klay CP3 are definitive locks

  2. He’s actually following through with his words for once, we didn’t see any Dario minutes tonight until garbage time, god bless

    TJD with the pro interview.
KGB: “He beat him. Pay that man his minutes.”

At this point, looney is just playing to keep his iron man streak alive

  5. ImTheBestNerd

Looney boutta go to a farm upstate to play with all the other Looney’s

  6. SCalifornia831

    Steph/Podz/Wiggins/Kuminga/Dray

    CP3/Klay/GP2

Thats the guaranteed 8 man rotation

    Moody/TJD that’s your likely 10 man rotation

Looney/Saric are matchup dependent but also needed for an extended playoff rotation

This is tricky. Don’t forget TJD had two rookie mistakes early, too. He needs playing time to be ready for the playoffs, and we’ll need him in every potential playoff series except maybe SAC. It’s important to let him make some mistakes. Games like tonight are perfect, where he can be both praised like hell while still getting a little grief over the early mistakes in the film room. The more he learns, the better this team will be.

yes yes yes. did an alien take over steve kerr’s brain? don’t care but i like it if he follows through

  9. cock-a-dooodle-do

Goddamn it Steve, you had all reason. TJD always came through when given a chance.

Steve is in a tough predicament but he is close to seeing the light…he has players that rarely make mistake who he trusts and loves but they don’t really move the needle any more and now he’s seeing the benefit of playing high risk guys that are game changers. It’s nice seeing a risk averse coach slowly changing his ways and this is why the team chemistry is booming right now…

Cp3, gp2, klay, moody and trayce off the bench is killer.

Kerr is finally coming around, and all it took was for Kuminga to get so pissed he called him out on it and cut his braids. 😂

Now Kuminga, Moody and TJD are getting their fair share of the minutes.

Just FYI the “I know I can trust him” part of this quote was in relation to Looney, the full quote was “We’re gonna need Loon in the playoffs. There’s gonna be matchups where we need him. I know I can trust him. But we’ve gotta get Trayce more minutes…”

Kevon Loonajuan is still nice with it. It’s just tough for him to be athletic enough like TJD to protect the paint like TDJ did against Giannis. Grabbing offensive rebounds will be crucial for the playoffs and second chance opportunities are needed for this team to win games. That’s why we won it all in the 21-22 championship run, thanks to Loon and the team crashing the glass heavily.
