Not to be a wet rag, but Giannis was almost a DNP for the game because of an achilles problem. Same for Steph against Boston with bursitis, he still played and went 0-9 from 3

Edit: before the torches and pitchforks come out, I just want to point out that these highlights on Giannis are not against a healthy player. This guy was definitely playing below the rim last night. Same as Curry going 0-9 with a bad knee. Go W’s

MM may be slow, but I think he’s got really quick hands, which will serve him extra well with those go go gadget arms

I hadn’t seen Dame play a full game in a while and whoa he just looks slow. No burst, very little aggressiveness driving, feels like a shell of Portland Dame

Hmm…just noticed Dubs & Bulls both playing on a b2b!

So is there anyone – *anyone* – left here that doesn’t realize we basically tanked a scheduled loss in Boston to avoid NBA rules about resting stars?

  6. i don’t know they didn’t match up 1 vs 1 all game long but it’s great to see kuminga play great in both these games vs the bucks this season against giannis who probably kuminga’s play right now resembles the most

now i’m not saying kuminga is going to be giannis but in these two games vs the bucks kuminga averaged :

    24.0 pts 3.5 reb 2.0 ast 1.5 stl 2.0 blk on 59/57/100 splits in 27.5 minutes

imo kuminga is a better shooter at this point of their respective NBA careers in year 3 especially at the 3 pt line although kuminga has shied away from that area of the court recently as in the last month kuminga has shot 4/23 from 3s over his last 15 games … which includes 2/4 on wednesday night

giannis shot 28% from 3s on 1.3 attempts in his first three seasons … in comparison kuminga is shooting 34% on 3s on 2.2 attempts in his career right now

but remember the bucks played giannis at point guard around this time in year 3 of his NBA career … that’s how much the bucks trusted giannis’ handles and decision making with the ball in his hands

i’m not sure the warriors would ever trust kuminga handling point guard duties anytime soon granted kuminga has been looking for others to score recently as he’s been averaging 3.4 ast in his last 17 games since february compared to the 1.6 ast that kuminga averaged in his first 43 games this season but giannis in his third season post all star break averaged 7.2 ast

although if you look at kuminga’s and giannis’ overall stats in year 3 in the NBA when both were 21 years old

    giannis – 16.9 pts 7.7 reb 4.3 ast 1.2 stl 1.4 blk on 51/26/72 shooting splits in 35 mins

    kuminga – 15.6 pts 4.8 reb 2.1 ast 0.7 stl 0.5 blk on 53/30/73 shooting splits in 26 mins

    kuminga’s per 36 would be 21.6 pts 6.7 reb 2.9 ast 1.0 blk 0.7 stl

even with that i highly doubt kuminga will develop anywhere near to the caliber of player giannis has been and will continue to be and by the time his career is over he’ll probably be seen as a top 10-15 player in NBA history

i still think brown from the celtics is kuminga’s realistic best case comp or ceiling and i think the warriors org and warriors fans would take that as although brown isn’t an elite player or a #1 option on a title team even though he signed the biggest contract in NBA history this past offseason

brown imo still a solid #2 option on a contending team and if that is what kuminga’s ultimately is … again everybody associated with the warriors would accept if that’s the outcome for kuminga as a NBA player for the next 10+ years

Bucks scored 13 points in 17:30 mins from the end of the third til game.

  8. thEb0TTleR

I didn’t even know we have a B2B against bulls. Bulls are pretty good so hopefully we come prepared.

  9. slavicmaelstroms

So Darvin Ham is getting completely skewered in the Lakers sub. I know many of you don’t watch them play but is he really that bad?

  10. Boring_Scholar2531

Kuminga TJD and Moody 20 minutes all. We made it, afters months of hearing dumbases saying “no IQ, too many mistakes, role player potential, they dont understand the motion offense, not ready for the nba” and every othe bullshit they could think of. We btfo of the bucks with giannis.

    Keep playing the young guys
