spurs need to learn to freaking close the game and stay in potion and fight for it the whole time till whistle blows. pop was having to wave them in position way too much. Really annoyed by this one.

  2. adelphotes

    On track for 32-50

Ugh, That was a tough one, couldn’t close against the kings last two games.

    Go Spurs Go

  3. We shot 50% from 3 and they shot 30% from 3. We scored 130 and were up 5 with a minute to go. And lost. What’s the message? It doesn’t matter how many points we score, if we can’t defend we can’t win. Malaki scored a lot of points and was a -16 because we leaked a lot of points.

  4. mynewredditacccount

I just broke my desk chair by punching the handle off

  5. DriveForFive219

Pop about to catch a fine but rightly so. Another loss to the kings on a no call that was a clear foul. Overall good game for our boys without wemby

  6. The_Guerrilla

That last turnover was a disaster. But that was still great fight from the guys. No-one expected it to even be close.

  7. ffadicted

Pop was absolutely livid at everyone at the end, even letting the kings entire coaching staff hear it lol frustration bubbling up!

  8. IbSunPraisin

Ngl that was a super disappointing ending. Just sloppy in the last 4 min when it counted. The tank rolls on

  9. VeniceRapture

I could feel the Game Thread getting ready to start loving Collins and Malaki again, and then it happened lmfao

  10. BeautifulDimension56

meh pop kinda threw this game. I understand not ruining the flow but with a young team i think a TO would’ve been best.

  11. msolelh1027

This loss would’ve hurt more if Wemby is playing but they put up a fight. Sums up our roster.

  12. DontTouchIt17

Goddam. Give it a year or two and we’re gonna own these guys. Proud of how the team showed out tho tonight

  13. MikeyBastard1

That was some of the worst officiating I have seen all year, and it has been an AWFUL year for the refs

  14. We need a dawg on this team besides Wemby that can close games. But everyone still played better than I thought. Good game I think though besides the ending lol. I don’t know what to make of this.

  15. LonelyTexan96

Toriyama now this. Can’t end the night on anything good.

  16. aaronlovescrypto

Not mad at this game at all, bad reffing, great play by our guys.

  17. So close….

    😭

What was coach Pop pissed about at the end. He was losing his shit with the Kings coaching staff.

  18. HogsheadOfRealFire

Refs with the win… but at the same time can we please fucking learn to close games? This has been an issue for YEARS

  19. This is in a way a good L, draft wise at least. Especially without Wemby, it allowed young players to show what they can do…and what they have to work on (hi there Malaki).

  20. Entertaining game! Slightly pissed at Malaki and Zach with that wtf sequence 😅 But hey, they have their confidence back! #GoSpursGo

    + Dogshit refs fuck u

  21. Man that one hurts. They just completely crumbled in that final minute.

Really wanted the kings to lose that one after watching Sabonis whine to the refs after every damn play

  22. I expected a loss but not like this…

…this one hurt worse because it was so close

  23. MikeyBastard1

Gonna be a lot of “this player sucks” and “that player sucks”

Im just happy the boys fought back HARD in the 2nd half after being down pretty big.

  24. CrissCrossAppleSos

What a weird ass post game interaction between Pop and Jordi Fernandez and (to a lesser extent) Mike Brown

  25. irrelevance_90

Excellent basketball for 47 minutes and 30 seconds and then shit the bed at the worst possible time. These guys had a great game but will be overshadowed by that stupid turnover at the end failing to execute in the crunch time. We had them by the balls and just completely fucked up in spectacular fashion.

  26. Can’t decide if the officiating was worse in this game or Houston. What the fuck.

  27. Ok-Brick5218

It’s like we always do the exact right thing to lose games. Great game for some guys that get shit on a lot like Zach and Malaki but it’s the small things that lost us this game (and that no call at the end of the game.)

  28. That last stretch was fucking ungodly, that last turnover to, I’d be shouting the foulest words right now but please learn from this and learn how to close a game cause jesus christ.

  29. coolpuppy12

All I wanted from this game was good effort and entertaining basketball, so I can’t even be mad (but I am, ’cause losing sucks). Anyway, GSG!

  30. racefreak265

I’ve made peace with that I can almost never blame refs for losses/wins, unfortunately just the lack of experience got us there. Also Sochan bricking some wide open looks in the second half was rough

  31. Neckrolls4life

The Kings last two home wins have been against the Spurs.

  32. aisforandreww

RIP to the reporters interviewing Pop after the game
