Chris Finch on Edwards’ final play: ‘Incredible block at the end there’
Uh yeah I mean just everything was really decisive I thought he played really quick he went downhill in straight lines he got to his spots um you know if they were between him and the and the in the basket he’d pull up or make the right play and then you know
A lot of times he just kept coming down with force and he had he had uh an opportunity to get to the rim um you know and of course I thought his defense was outstanding all night just you know incredible block at the end there just
To seal it but and then just some huge shots you know in the fourth I mean just from the three to the N1 to the Baseline reverse to the little Runner I mean he had it all going on but uh I thought everybody played phenomenal tonight I
Really did I thought uh even we we weathered foul trouble we rather some some bumps and bruises um you know we we played we played outstanding so really happy for the guys much of that just kind of take some adversity this morning and just kind of yeah I don’t
Know yeah I think I mean guys um you know I think we’ve been looking for a little bit of a spark plug something to kind of galvanize us pull us together a little bit um you could tell how we started the game we we were really ready
And focused and um um you know just kind of like on point uh then they did a really good job of like up in the physicality in the game and I think it bothered us for a little bit but then when we kind of started pushing back um
We were able to kind of level that playing field so it’s been a while since clutch Time game has kind of I guess Gone Gone Away the first couple possessions kind and it was kind of yeah obviously a did what else yeah I mean obvious you know um put the b ball in
Kyle’s hands a few times you know kind of give an a break and things shook loose Mike had the big uh three um you know we also had the kick out three when they put two on Ant you know got off made the right play um Jaden had the
High bounds three um just you know enough shot making and the right plays at the right time you know um when they didn’t have two on and he went downhill when they did he got off of it so you know it seems like his last 15 to 20
Points almost everybody in the building knew he was going to take the shot yeah and make I mean that kind of quality yeah I mean when you face that kind of pressure to be the guy for not just two or three possessions but four or five minutes yeah well we know that’s how
He’s wired you know he likes that he wants that he’s not afraid of that um and then it’s all about making the right plays and then you know making shots along the way and he did both tonight you know so I also um I thought a huge
Play in the game too just as uh was ni’s steal at the end of the quarter I just you know the momentum was going their way and we were in trouble and we were just kind of holding the trying to hold the tide and you know that that that
That strip of halberton at the end of the quarter kind of you know gave gave us just enough like ooms start the fourth with the right you know kind of uh energy Midway through I think the third quarter whatever you took connley off the ball and had an bringing it up
In the in the third was that just to get Mike off the ball it was to get him off the ball I mean they were extremely physical with them I thought they were riding them hard the whole way up the floor just you know I thought also um to
Try to free him up make some shots you know just get the ball out of his hands and uh Kyle as well you know and uh that’s the luxury we have so when moris went down how did you start to think about getting those minutes together and
Then you had Botho and um Jaden get their fourth fouls I mean you began to try to Cobble together a rotation and the last the third and fourth quarter yeah I mean the first thing was to try to break up nille and Mike if I could
Just cuz I knew that they’d have to stagger him coming down the stretch and then but we were getting Kyle back in the fourth TJ was really good I mean just just kind of threw him in there there um you know I thought he was looked like he belonged really excited
About what he can give us going forward here um you know yeah just yeah you’re right just had to figure it out from there um but fortunately we were able that’s why that play at the end of the quarter was so big from nille [Applause] so

Great win. I’m happy for them.
Mike and Kyle did not play phenomenal tonight. Mike was 2 for 9 with a crucial turnover to potentially make it a two possession game with 3 minutes left in the 4th. Kyle with an awful foul at the end that almost cost us the game. Poor decision making and bad fouls all night.
Despite all of that ANT MAN put his cape on
If any of these so called reporters were any good at all. They would ask Finch why he hates Luca Garza ? And why Luca doesn't get any time at all ever ?
In these remaining games, Ant's gonna "seal the deal" on All-NBA.
Ant was obviously godlike tonight but I feel like TJ Warren was also really big. He had a great understanding of how we play the game, wasn't detrimental and hit a couple big shots. I'd like to see him get more minutes, touches and eventually get signed for the playoff run. Feels like a great TBJ replacement and I hope the coaching staff gives him the opportunity
SKOL Timberwolves? Can we start that lol 😅
🙏🙏🙏
TJ Warren is about to get that 10-day contract upgraded reeeeaaal quick!
That was a great game by ant hoping the national media will give us some love
