The refs really ruined this game. Fuck them.
On another note hell of a fight with Maxey back I think we could steal a few unexpected ones…but really fuck the refs.
Fuck the refs
Such a Sixers thing to get a generational talent and surround him with nothing but BUMS. This team is absolute poverty without Joel.
I’m still confused… wasn’t the guy out of bounds?
Fuck everyone saying we’re ass and that we have no shot in the playoffs, we fought back and were one awful call away from one of the craziest comebacks I’ve ever seen with a heavily crippled roster against one of the best teams in the west
So is the point of having replay in the game to get the calls right or is it to create some kind of second game where you need to use your challenge so precisely that the refs can just do what-the-fuck-ever they want to do because “fuck you, you lost the challenge game”? I really want to know.
This feels like the pre-process era lol
We had heart in the second half but man, we really need Maxey back
We didn’t deserve to win this game. That was clear. But Jesus. If I was Adam Silver, I’d be fucking embarrassed by the product on display. The missed out of bounds call down the stretch is absolutely unacceptable from NBA refs. It is genuinely becoming almost unwatchable.
Absolutely brutal refereeing in the last 5 minutes.
Welp at least they managed to fight back and only lose by 8, saves them the embarrassment
Can we go back to posting cat pics.

Can you believe the line was 8.5?? Truman show
This was surprisingly fun to watch in person. For most of the game, it was basically a comedy of errors but we fought our asses off and could have won this. The Jumbotron just left the image paused with that player out of bounds he spiked the ball. Garbage refereeing to undermine what could have been an amazing ending.
Looked pretty bleak in the 1st…guess I’ll take at least making it a competitive finish in the 4th but man this stretch is rough
We had no business being in that game but we fought back. But Adam silver made the call and once again another game(any nba game not just sixers) ruined in the last 5 min by incompetence. Whether it’s for sports books, viewers or to fuck the process it’s horrid. Full homer if that was the opposite way it’s overturned and the pels pull off the comeback on us
cool that refs can literally sell games to draftkings now and nobody can fucking do anything about it. cam payne lying on the floor out of bounds, and a guy that steps out of bounds can throw the ball at his head to get the possession. awesome!
Refs sucked. Nothing new. But maybe we should blame the Sixers for coming out like ass going down 35+ in the first half first and foremost.
I know we shouldn’t spot a team a 35 point lead but how the fuck does the sideline ref STARING AT THE BALL not see him land out of bounds before throwing it off Payne? Do your fucking job.
all you need to know about the end of that game is that the pelicans were favored by 7.5 at tip off. the nba sponsored by draftkings
They need to bring back the last two minute out of bound review thing. I get not reviewing every call through the game/sometimes you get away with one but to have such a big fuck up at the end when it’s close and an obvious mistake is just terrible. The goal should be to get this stuff right, not have competition hamstrung by technicalities and shrug
17/11/3 blks by Reed. You can tell that the game’s starting to come together for him and this additional playing time is tremendous for his development.
Yes, he’s still gonna do “Reed things” but that’s what makes him special. If everyone else can freelance, let Reed freelance every once and a while.
Bball was dogshit for those couple weeks he was sick/getting over being sick. Now he’s back to being who he was and has proven to be (a damn good backup big).
the nba needs expedited review like the nfl has yesterday. if any human being with eyes can watch the replay at full speed and see you’re wrong, it should be automatically overturned in new york. officiating is absolutely embarrassing and they need to do a fucking ton to improve it.
We lead the league in fake comebacks
Just want to say that every post about officiating is weak. Embarrassing.
Be better.
Shout out to our 3 point specialists *Paul Reed and Jeffrey Dowtin Jr*
**random highidea:** sign larry nance and put him in the dunker spot like aaron gordon is for joker but for embiid
Pelicans had the chance to do the funniest thing.
Refs hate humor I guess.
Do we keep Buddy this offseason, and if so, how much does he get paid? He seems to want money, and will obviously be better with Embiid and Maxey back, but yeesh, I see why a lot of Pacers fans were fine with him gone now. He’s looked like a vet minimum player the last ~5 or so games, scared to shoot and just super inefficient.
I missed the game to go and watch Dune part 2 again, it was worth it
