Deni Avdiji added 18 points and 14 rebounds as Jordan Poole totaled 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists for Washington. Miles Bridges led Charlotte with 32 points and 12 rebounds while Brandon Miller added 21 points and 6 rebounds.
The Wizards snap a 16-game losing streak and move to 10-53, as the Hornets go to 15-48 with the loss.
Brandon Miller notches his twentieth game with 20 or more points this season, joining Victor Wembanyama as the only rookies this season to reach 20 such games.
