Someone please tell CBC that their term 'Consolation Semi-Final' is non-sensical. A 'Semi-Final' is a game with the winner going to the Final. There is no such thing as a 'Consolation Semi-Final'. These are 'Consolation 5-8 Games'. 'Semi' is latin for 'half' and 'Final' means the championship game. The word 'final' belongs NOWHERE in the title for 5-8 games. How does a sports broadcaster not know this basic thing?
