We had an opportunity um to come back the last game uh the game before this one but we can’t keep living in that world so getting down I think it was 18 points in the first quarter responded very well but takes so much pressure and put so much pressure
On everything you do so we just got to start the quarters out um in the beginning fighting and I’m hunting in the right way um I thought the guys fought all night uh we have to clean up the rebounds and the turnovers um that’s our recipe for Success when we rebound
When we have low turnovers we usually win the game so Detroit played hard Cunningham and and Jaden had a great game have to be able to contain their guards and we have to do a better job rebounding mentioning Jaden and K you talked about just how talented this team
Was in what ways did they show that show that in tonight’s game and what made it kind of difficult to slow them down had three level scores um they can get to the rim Kate with his mid-range and then he was shooting threes today um I
Getting to the rim shooting threes uh so they just did a real good job 41% from the three-point line um um I believe 40% from the free throw line them guys just played very well played off each other and we just got to clean up our
Rebounding so that means all five got to go hunting rebounds um it just can’t be Nick it can’t be you know no we got to step up and uh we got to do it collectively um but I was proud of our guys by hanging in there um and coming
Out in the second quarter and having a 40 onepoint quarter um it showed a lot of resiliency but we cannot put ourselves behind an eightball like that in games and expect to win especially on the road so in your mind I mean you you you guys have tied it up whatever Midway
Through the fourth in Your Mind had you just expended so much energy yeah um to a certain extent but you want to be in games in the fourth quarter and we talk about digging deep and if you want to do something extraordinary you have to do the extra
Stuff so we want to put ourselves in fourth quarter positions we we short-handed a little bit but we expect our guys to step up and win games when we in a fourth quarter so not making no excuses but we cannot get down like 18 points and that like you say Brian that
Brings a lot of energy to bring that game back but you know we in games in fourth quarter we expect to win so that starts with execution that’s coaching staff that’s players um and we have to have the effort to finish games the way it appeared that you guys had trouble
Kind of guarding your yard on the perimeter I mean 60 whatever lead to a lot of those Second Chance point I mean because they’re breaking things down they’re getting in the lane did that lead to the second chance points or in your mind was it something else that was
Leading to those Second Chance points no you know basketball if you you getting two feet in the paint every time the rim we got to help and then you got to V back down with the guards and then you got Darren and wisan and Steward those
Not those not small guys so with our guards so we just got a be better job containing I thought our Zone really helped us get back in the game um and we just got to continue to explore that but we got to guard our yard we got to
Contain and dribble and uh we pride oursel on defense and we have to be better in Charlotte what we’ve seen from male of late you know last whatever it is I don’t know 10 games or so forth that’s a that’s a drop off not just in raw
Numbers but I mean in in in efficiency from the whatever 17 18 20 games before that do you think playing every game and then playing a lot of minutes every game when you didn’t really have an off season I mean do you see him starting to wear down physically I mean is he
Somebody that would benefit from a Break um you know everybody can benefit from a break but our schedule is not allowing us to take a break and I know he’s came to me and said I need to play I want to play and I believe in them and our team
Believe in them and I know we continue to have faith and continue Contin to put him in a Ral situations he will prevail he’ll get through this um it’s making him stronger you know and it’s it hurts when you don’t have CT or CJ where you
