Clippers seeding
Clippers are 3.5 back from 1st place OKC (lost season series 1-2), 2.5 back from 2nd place Denver (down 1-2 in the season series with 1 more game in Denver coming) and 2 back of 3rd place Minnesota (down 1-2 in the series with 1 remaining against them). Clippers can very well finish in AT LEAST 2nd if they take care of business coming up, particularly in their March stretch. Denver still has to play Minnesota 3 times and if they take care of them, Clippers could hypothetically take 3rd fairly easily.

i can easily see us going 9-2 (just based off matchups) in this stretch, but good god the atrocious scheduling, and our newfound fetish for nonchalant ball are the only things that makes me think otherwise.
lock in and take care of business is all i ask
Shame the NO game is on the second night of a b2b. It would be nice to face them on normal rest so we can gauge whether we stand any chance of beating them in a 7 game series. Because the results so far during the 213 era suggest we should do everything possible to avoid that matchup.
We gotta hope Minnesota goes on a losing streak if we wanna avoid playing the Pelicans in the first round. We’re a 14 game .500 team since everyone was calling us the best team in the league and now we’re gonna load manage a bit.
I think we’re getting the 4th seed and I think the Pelicans are going to create some separation with Sacramento and Phoenix behind them.
We can beat the Pelicans but it’s a rough first round because of travel and tough matchups.
What really matters is only 2 games separate us and Denver in the loss column. We have a lot of control on where we finish
Westbrick is out. There’s no need to worry about.
At this point, I’m focused on staying in the top 4 while also avoiding having to play Denver until the WCF.
With the way OKC and Denver are playing, it seems farfetched we’ll catch them. If Denver nabs the 1 seed, make sure you get up to #3.
Any team but Pelicans is fine with me.
