  1. If I ranked those guys this would be my list, with some short summaries.

Jordan – 🐐 Nothing really needs to be said, this guy dominated his era like no other player, from individual dominance to team success. What really stands out is that he did this in only 11 healthy seasons, if you take out his 86 & 95 seasons where he hardly played.

Kobe – Highest pace adjusted scoring season in nba history, over Jordan and wilt. First and only guy to break the 80 point barrier since 1962. Most dominant scorer of his generation while also being a first team defender. Proven winner going through the toughest conference in nba history. Has defeated more 50 win teams in the playoffs than any other player in history. From 08-10, every team Kobe faced besides 1, won at least 50 games. Only player in history to score 600 points in three consecutive playoff runs.

Kareem – Kobe won more without Shaq than Kareem did without Magic, and to a trained eye that is pretty damning despite the overall resume. Kareem was not a great leader, this held him back until Magic came around to help build and maintain a winning culture. Still, his overall basketball success is unmatched along with his longevity(38k with 1 three pointer). Probably a little unlucky, as he could’ve had another Finals MVP or MVP.

Lebron – Incredible all time talent, his team impact is undeniable. At his peak you could argue this man was adding 30 additional wins to his teams. He also has some very impressive stat totals, which put him in the same air as Kareem. But despite his unique longevity he’s only won 4 titles in 21 years, despite playing with more talent than any other all time great. His finals series against the 07 Spurs and 2011 Mavs are quite damning against him, as well as playing in one of the weaker conferences in the history of the NBA. I personally would put him below Kobe, Kareem, and Jordan.

Russell – ATG, but when he won there was an average of less than 10 teams in the NBA. You can’t compare those rings to the difficulty of the guys after him who had to play more than double the total games. The wear and tear of the 80’s-90’s-00’s playoffs were just a different monster.

    That’s my list

  2. Richard Jefferson is the only person (that I've heard)to clarify , "There is not a "G.O.A.T. in the NBA.If Bill Russel were alive I believe he would've drawn the same conclusions. He always was fair , impartial and unbiased.

  3. I can't go on YouTube for 3 days without this argument coming up. Nobody is ever going to agree on one person ever.

  4. This why RJ holds so much weight. Bro never biased. Never jumped on a band wagon because of money or clothes like Gil lol. RJ & Kobe the only NBA players that tell the truth.

  5. The craziest part about this clip is that 99% of the comments all in agreement. No stans and old heads talking shit.

  6. Richard Jefferson, almost at a point is dialogue with him just correct By not talking about kobe right after Michael And we can’t forget about Tim Duncan, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Garnett these guys also transition the game into a different space Richard Jefferson just like your game you’re commentating you gotta get it right buddy

  7. That’s a great point that Paul made about the Celtics being a black-hat team. So many people hate them and they don’t even know why. At least I don’t know why so many people hate the Celtics. Is it the leprechaun logo? He does look a little douchey.

  8. I think this is the best breakdown of what the top 5 each represent, and what people take into consideration when naming them, at least in general.

  9. Hahahahahhahahahahah. Lebron James is by far the best basketball player in history. Eyeball test. Easy. It’s Lebron James and by far.
