Next 7 Games

While the Al-P injury is devastating, I can’t imagine our coaching staff and players rolling over and giving up on the rest of this season. The next 7 games are all very winnable and could potentially get us back to .500.

What’s the optimal move going forward? Slot in Jock at C? More small ball?

Cleveland and Spurs will pose an issue, but Jock has been on fire lately. If the other guys step up – think we can win.

Man this team was just getting momentum too. Could easily see them going 6-1. I think if we split it here that would be best case. We rely a lot on Al-P.

we legit had 12 more winnable games with alpi. Imagine if we were a 41 win team

Without Al-P the burden is on the rest of the guys to create in the half court.

I don’t really see anything better than 3-4 in that above stretch.

if jalen green or jabari step up their game for these games then we should be relatively fine, jock has been very solid and should be able to hold the fort down.

  7. Jabari has to play bigger, even then that’s still a tough cover. Let’s see if Ime is who he is cracked up to be

i just hope its not a Knee ligament. That would delay his development by a year or more. Is there anyone out there that we could sign to give us 6 fouls and some rebounds. I know during the pandemic a bunch of guys came out of the wood work. IDK is Greg Monroe still healthy?

This is the stretch where we NEED to get Ws.

    I think it’s doable

I need Bari to step out especially

Quit trying to make the play in happen. Even with Sengun, the Rockets have been sketchy against shit teams. Now that Jalen is the #1 option again, the season is essentially over

  11. Sengun opens up the game alot. I believe FVV will struggle without Sengun
TLDR: *Jalen needs to fcking man up, and create plays without chucking contested 3s*

Jabari is still a great role player, but not that man tbh
Landale is very willing on defense but does not even pick & roll, he does not have Sengun’s basketball IQ
Cam tunnel visions alot, cannot rely on him yet

  12. Rockets7629

If landale can keep it up we truly have a chance to win almost all of these.

I’d say play Jabari at the 5 and slot in whitmore or even amen into the 4, offensively Jabari at the 5 spaces out the floor and gives the rockets someone who can switch out to the perimeter on defense.

  14. Matador2210

No Al-p Rockets are not winning any of those Games. 95% of their Plays goes thru Al-P not Joc Landale. The team is completely different when Al-P is on the Bench.

  15. The good news, jock is playing better now than at the beginning of the season.

  16. I think 4-3 is doable if everyone locks in

We’re not beating the Cavs, and probably not the Bulls either. Jazz will likely be rough. Portland, it really depends how many of their guys are back from injury and who it is. Spurs might just destroy us with Wemby unless Boban can do something about him. Wizards probably doable.

We have looked good playing faster lately. Alpi, plays slower. This could be a good chance to see if we can play faster and to our other strengths.
