This New Basketball Costs $2500 😳

Would you pay $2,500 for a basketball Wilson just released on their website a new ball for this price and no it’s not a ball that LeBron James played with but it’s this new 3D printed airless basketball that they teased last year at the All-Star game so now it’s available

For purchase what’s so special about this thing and is it actually worth buying first when looking at the website Wilson is launching this as the new airless gen one basketball and it’s available in three different colors white black and the Classic basketball brownish orange color these however are

Special balls as they are limited edition and it’s rumored that roughly a little over 200 are available for purchase if you look at the website each ball will feature its number among the series and it shows the number 75 so I’m guessing they made 75 balls for each

Color Mar has brownley posted this video on his Instagram comparing it to a normal basketball and by the power of 3D printing it is meant to replicate the bounce fight and feel of a normal basketball except it’s airless meaning it’s ready to play whenever it’s so expensive due to the manufacturing

Limitations and the highly skilled engineering behind it but just like apple Vision Pro the demand for these aome inventions are super high I don’t see the NBA using this ball anytime soon but people want to try this out

  1. This is genius, they’re doing exactly what Apple is doing. They’re gonna keep it at $2500 then in a few years they will make it like $200, which is still ridiculously expensive but compared to $2500 it’s a no brainer buy

  2. This is a great marketing idea until you remember it costs like $300 to buy a 3d printer and all it takes is one guy and those dudes are legit at it.
