Jonathan Kuminga in March: 20.6/4.9 on 50/40/90%

JK continues to shine as a bonafide #2 offensive option. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Kid just keeps developing. Wish it had began earlier in the season, but it’s looking great for next season

Once he gets some meaningful playoff experience he’ll be unstoppable.

welp its not gonna be controversial to say hes t3 player of his class next season

i get that he’s not quite ready to be the second option on a contending team, but goddamn, he’s barely 21 years old and this fucking good.

also, he’s absolutely the second option on this team and it’s not even close. it’s amazing that the *second* he started getting serious minutes, he instantly proved this beyond a shadow of a doubt. it’s a shame it took so long for him to get these minutes, but i’m happy he finally did and so excited for his future.

Not many players call out a coach for more mins and then prove that he deserved those mins. There are like 10 Bones Hylands for 1 Jonathan Kuminga. Keep working on that jumpshot in the summer, and work harder on the team defense.

My favorite part about that is the 50/40/90 splits show he is growing in exactly the right way – taking the right amount of shots to execute well. It is likely heresy to say it, but that is 100% thanks to years of excellent personal coaching, and him buying in to get the minutes he deserved.

Now what is his ceiling and most likely trajectory with those stats, while becoming a defensive monster too? I am not sure, but high 20s per game seems likely, and a ton more impact than he has right now due to his continued defensive development and ever better integration into the team.

The league is moving very fast and stats keep going up, but that seems to be a pretty straightforward all-star trajectory in the next 2-3 years. If everything works out perfectly, next year is not a huge stretch – even if it’s not the most likely path.

I would love to see him just once this regular season drop 40 in a meaningful game!
    Then he will have arrived.

The improvement in his FT shooting is very impressive, and a big step toward becoming an elite scorer. He has averaged over 7 FTs over the past 4 games.

Legit one of the best young wings in the league. For comparison he is the same age as a lot of the lottery picks last year.Same age as the twins and Miller

That’s great, but we’re not even halfway through march
