To let everybody know that today’s episode is brought to you by prize pick the easiest and most exciting way to play daily fantasy sports go to prize.com locked on NBA and use the code all lowercase locked on NBA for a first deposit match up to $100 uh Andy’s doing

Radio um on Wednesday night 710 ESPN the Lakers Flagship station I’m sure he’s Fielding a bunch of very angry calls after the Lakers lose again to the second Sacramento Kings um in a game that I I don’t know I mean technically speaking it wasn’t a blowout but once

Again the Lakers uh 120 107 the final score but Alex regas uh from Alex regler from Silver Screen and roll stepping in it did not feel particularly in the second half like a somewhat close game once the Kings pulled away they were up by four at the half they were up by 15

By the end of the third uh I I never felt like the Lakers were threatening to get back into this yeah like you said kind of the same old story with this uh the match up with the Kings and um a bit disappointing honestly like yeah you’re

Going to lose games and stuff like that but to lose to this team again in kind of the same way I think that’s the disheartening thing is it just tends to be the same formula each game just can’t um between them and Denver honestly it’s teams with I know we’ll probably get

Into it but teams with like big physical centers who can drag ad out of the paint and stuff like that so um it sucks that they couldn’t adjust or they couldn’t kind of get up for this game but uh blown opportunity here yeah it’s

Funny like I Andy and I sort of had a little debate and by the way if you have not been been checking out Alex’s work at Silver Screen en roll if you’ve not been following him uh on social media you need to be doing it we quote him

Liberally from his Twitter feed and things like that on the show constantly constantly stealing from Alex so um make sure that you are uh following him paying attention to the work he’s doing over there because it’s really really good stuff um the Lakers I mean it’s this hurts because the Lakers they’re

Just running out of time I I don’t know like I said Andy and I had this sort of debate like they said last week when they when they lost that game that they let their foot off the gas and I guess that’s to some degree true but I think what keeps happening

And why they keep going to that with the with the Kings they’re getting their butts kicked and they don’t have a good answer for it whether from a coaching standpoint or from a player standpoint for this Sacramento Kings team which they’re good but they’re not that good

Yeah and I think that’s why it tends to be like after every game or every uh press conference it comes back to like effort and um stuff like that like they out hustled us or any any kind of things like that because like you said there’s no kind of schematic thing that’s going

On to show that they’ve adjusted or they can’t adjust uh matchup wise and um I think most of their issues are on the defensive end with this Kings team and like their offense wasn’t great tonight but they weren’t horrible but they just couldn’t like get the stops in order to

Make a run and unlike the other games I felt like the Kings actually just control this one from the jump It’s funny too it’s like and you know we’ll we’ll get into the ad sabonis Parts here because that’s obviously a huge component and once again uh damont

Sabonis gets the better of Anthony Davis in this one sabonis 17 points 19 rebounds uh including five offensive plus 10 assists ad 22 points but seven of 18 from the floor so an inefficient offensive night for him 10 rebounds three assists one block um like you know

You look at the up and down the box score you know sabonis had a nice night but only had 17 points they held Darren Fox to 21 points on nine of 20 from from the floor only one of five from three like that’s fine MH um you know Malik

Monk had 26 I think last week when they played he was three for 10 but then Harrison Barnes Harrison Barnes had 23 points 711 from three Keegan Murray they let get going you know he’s a great three-point shooter half of his 10 threes had 19 points they had five guys

In double figures like the Lakers really couldn’t keep a lid on the other guys yeah defensively in way too many open threes seemed to me and I’m not sure if that was just a result of them kind of selling out on whenever Darren fox or

Malik Monk kind of drove to the paint we saw them kind of collapse a lot more than maybe the last game we saw them switch a bit more on those kind of dribble handoffs with sabonis up top to kind of try and neutralize those cuts

And stuff like that but I think as a result it kind of left guys on an island and the Lakers point of attack defense obviously isn’t the greatest um their guard play and kind of controlling kind of quicker guards in the league has just not been there this year so I think

That’s why we saw so much drive and kick tonight and it results in a lot of Threes I and wide open ones for that like a lot of you know eight seconds left in the shot clock Lakers been playing pretty decent defense trying to help trying to recover trying to do a

Lot of stuff but in the end this is I would imagine fairly demoralizing for a team in the end you play 17 seconds of good defense only to give up a wideopen three um it’s a it’s a movie that we’ve seen before with these guys yeah I mean

I haven’t checked it but I mean earlier in the season they were last and wide openen threes given up in the league and a lot of that was we’re seeing this across the league in in terms of like teams are leaving the right guys open right that’s something we hear a lot

When we see teams give up a lot of threes and they kind of have okay defense but um like we saw them go under screens on Ellis tonight and he kind of made them pay they let Barnes get going he kind of got into a rhythm and that’s

Just kind of been a trend all year in terms of letting guys get good looks early and once they make those looks it kind of just snowballs um what what what did you see from ad because this was again was not that he was terrible but like the better

Player of the of the of the All-Star caliber centers here was clearly sabonis again it’s tough like at some point you know the Lakers ad needs someone to give him the ball right versus although they both play five out and sabonis does a lot you know he triggers a lot of the

Offense for the Kings and AD does that as well for the Lakers maybe not as like nuanced or not as like expertly run because the Kings have more experience doing it but so a lot of times you know ad does need someone to give him the

Ball on the post and the Kings collapsed and stuff like that but at the end of the day he did miss a lot of bunnies around the paint and I’m not sure what it is with this sabonis matchup but he just kind of I don’t know if it’s like

That lower center of gravity sabonis had has that kind of pushes him just kind of pushes him kind of off center you know when he’s kind of getting her in that floter area and he just looks uncomfortable against the Kings uh compared to other teams we’ve seen ad

Kind of dominate when we just did against Minnesota so I’m not sure exactly what it is um he just looks at a rhythm against the Kings uh Lakers fall to five games over 500 3631 the next game they do get two games off this two

Days off I should say uh and that’s a big deal before Golden State comes to town on Saturday very vulnerable very slumping Golden State team uh a critical game for the Lakers to at the very least try to put themselves in uh in the catbird seat for the number nine seed in

The west which is a sentence that really you just didn’t hear a lot about seven or eight years ago um all right when we get back I want to talk a little bit more about ad but also the bench uh Spencer Dy did not score in 20 minutes

Of play the Lakers bench has been in a terrible terrible production slump of late uh I want to curious if Alex has any uh remedies for this problem because it is a big one we’ll get to to that next in okay locked on Lakers is brought to you

By prize picks what is prize pick Alex you’re probably asking that very question well I’ll tell you prize picks is America’s number one fantasy sports app with over three million members easily the uh the easiest and most exciting way to play DFS just you against the numbers you pick more or

More than or less than on two to six player stat projections and you just kind of watch the winnings roll in that’s how it works and Alex it’s demon time on prize picks you can now win up to 100 times your money with as little as four correct picks you can turn $10

Into a, that’s a lot more demons and goblins are the newest and most exciting way to play at prize picks squares marked with Red Demons or Green Goblins can get you different payouts and again you can now win up to a 100 times your money with as little as four correct

Picks prize picks is really simple to play you make your pick you submit your entry in less than 60 seconds they even have injury insurance so you go to priz pi.com lockon NBA use the code locked innba for a first deposit match up to $100 again prix.com loock innba use the

Code locked innba for a first deposit match up to $100 prize picks pick more pick less it’s that easy and okay so Alex this is like the Lakers overall in this sort of horrible stretch of schedule that they’ve had you know they they’ve actually come through it

Reasonably well um you know Kings games aside uh it’s still though frustrating because you know one of the things we were talking about this in the show earlier in the week one of the reasons I’m having trouble fully buying into this idea the Lakers can make a run in

The playoffs despite the fact that they’ve beaten every good team in the league at least once is that they can’t put together four or five or six or seven wins in a row and it feels like every team that wins a title they have that 22 and four run or something like

That where they just look dominant against everyone for stretch is that a problem am I overthinking that you know because they have had good you know 15 and seven you know the those kinds of overtime decent win loss records I mean it’s tough to say Like it Like The Optimist side like thinking

Is you know this recent stretch where they’ve kind of beaten good teams is is an indication that that they have that in them right like they have the potential to Rattle off these win streaks but the larger sample of the Season suggests like that’s not the case

Um they’ve been really poor against like middle of the- pack teams uh last I checked um yeah and I think that I’m not sure what the issue is there uh it’s not so much I don’t think they could sent them like oh they’re just playing down to their competition because at this

Point like their record suggest that’s where they are like that those that’s exactly where they should uh be considered so it’s tough like you would kind of Hope at this point of the Season we would see them in that type of win streak to kind of build that momentum

And kind of climb the standings but like all year like the one consistent is just how inconsistent they’ve been and they they get this huge win and then maybe they lose to a Houston or they lose to like a Memphis or something like that so

It’s just tough to kind of really get a good gauge on this team because they don’t really let us kind of like see a big sample to suggest like okay now they’ve got things clicking on the one hand you look at this game on on Wednesday and you’re disappointed because it’s a 13-point

Loss and all these other things on the other you kind of look at it and be like I wonder how they kept it that close LeBron was six of 16 uh Anthony Davis was seven of 18 DLo was two of nine um and the bench non garbage time aside

Gave them 11 points I think Christy had a bucket late uh after the the game was essentially decided as a group they only had 13 points all of them together um how they’re not going to win many games when when ad Russell and LeBron are that inefficient together and fortunately it

Hasn’t happened a lot this year but the bench thing is is becoming an issue like the you know tan Prince had two buckets you hit both uh hit a three had a couple free throws in 13 minutes dinwi he didn’t score and Jackson Hayes gave you

The four points that he might throw in there what can they do about that this is a major problem like the fact that they they can’t get anything out of den witty first and foremost but just the bench generally isn’t providing much offensive support at all it is something

That’s kind of Flo under the radar right CU they have been playing better the offense has been tremendous like over last few months I they like second in offensive rating or something like that but that’s largely because of the starting lineup’s just been so good like

All those guys have just been great um like you said the Spencer Edition it’s funny because like when he was signed that the main thing people thought he was going to provide was his offense right but it’s been his defense that’s kind of been the most impressive part of

His game so um that said I mean it would be nice if he could kind of get back to doing some of that offensive stuff that he was doing in Brooklyn and and in Dallas specifically so beyond that I mean when you kind of move Prince to

That bench group and you’re relying on guys like Hayes and guys who are just sorely dependent on other people to play make for them it’s either like they’re cold or they’re hot and that’s just going to be their biggest contribution so we’ll see you know hopefully Gabe

Comes back and he can kind of be another table setter for that group but again kind of holding out hope for a guy who’s only played a few games this year just right that’s the news the news around Vincent is good the Lakers are you know he’s getting much more active I think

He’s been cleared to do uh non-con work on the floor and so you know still not returning tomorrow but tracking like he’s going to be back uh maybe by the by the end of the month or something like that but what are they gonna do with him

Because I don’t know you can’t play I mean either I think it’s either you have to play try to get Vincent going or you try to keep the din witty experiment going but I don’t see how you can play both of them significant minutes it’s not just them it’s also cam right like

Cam is that’s another guard Wing whatever you want to classify you have Max so you’re gonna have between not playing Max Christie does not seem to be an issue for for Darin unfortunately Max seems like the the odd man out but like you said you have Spencer unless you get

Like a three guard four guard bench group at some point um which is probably not the craziest it’s hard I mean it’s hard to play Four guards yeah so I think the the idea going into the air before Spencer was signed was Gabe was going to be the replacement for whoever was cold

That night right if it was Austin having an off game Gabe would finish games if it if it was DLo had a game like he did tonight or against a team like Denver Gabe was kind of that floor Razer kind of safeg guard who can just defend and

Hit threes and just kind of be the Dennis kind of proxy right so Gabe seems like he’s going to get a crack at it I’m sure Darvin really likes him and he wants to kind of see what he can provide given his his really great playoff run with Miami last year but

Again there’s a lot of guys and Spencer has helped a lot defensively but his offense just not there to a point where he’s like you said not providing really much there his usage rate I think is lower than Jackson Hayes’s it’s crazy because like there was a play uh earlier in the

Game when he drove and I was like okay like here this is the thing right this is why they got him he drives to the paint where Austin and D don’t do that and he kicked it out he just seems really passive and I wonder if that’s

Just him like feeling it out with the new team and like saying like here I’m gonna be unselfish I’m gonna kind of playmake I know what the the what people think of me around the league so I’m kind of show I can do everything else but score but they also need him to

Score right well he he had said you know he’s trying to fit in and you come to a team with a an established hierarchy and they got their offense and so on and so on and so on but you know I I know the coaches have said you know all the

Reporting other coaches have said you know go B we need you to play defense we need you to you know be efficient in your shot T they didn’t tell them like don’t shoot at all like they’re not saying don’t try to score at all and you

Know in 20 minutes he took two two shots I think yeah took two shots on on Wednesday I mean that’s that the Lakers generally do not shoot enough they are outshot you know not you know partially I guess because of the rebounding thing partially because they they do try to

Generate a lot of uh offense at the free throw line outshot the the Kings on Wednesday 22 to2 but like two shots in 20 minutes and no points if you told Rob pinka that that’s what they were going to be getting re you know that’s not that much different than his other stat

Lines um from Den witty I think he would have thought you were insane and especially on a night where D’Angelo Russell one the few nights after you know after just his crazy hot offensive run that he was off tonight and that’s exactly when you would hope a guy like

Spencer can step up and kind of provide that that offense but yeah unfortunately he’s not doing that at this point he’s not really spacing the floor he’s not making his open shots he’s not being aggressive um I mean hopefully it’s a good sign he’s doing everything else and

And the offense will kind of just naturally get back to where it was in his career but um at this point it’s just not there all right um You have been you have uh all year long have been kind of using a a data point that I uh mentioned this

Week about uh the the way the Lakers have played some of the best teams in the league so with that in mind I I want to when we come back I want to kind of dive into that with a bit sort of maybe an optimistic take on what could be

There for the Lakers assuming they don’t play Denver and Sacramento anywhere in the postseason so we’ll get to that next locked on Lakers is brought to you by Robin Hood did you know that even if you have a 401k for retirement you can still have an IRA and Robin Hood has the only

Research so I don’t have the exact number in in in front of me but the Lakers if you have gone through and have basically broken down how they’ve performed uh relative to the top 10 teams in the league I believe based on point differential which is a good way

Of of uh kind of parsing who’s good and who isn’t and the Lakers record against those teams is top five in the league just kind of impressive yeah no and yeah it is impressive and especially considering how what the record is now the the the kind of highs and lows we’ve seen all

Year but one of the consistent things is minus teams like Denver and Sacramento like we said they played got they played other like Elite teams really well and even teams like Denver they played very close you know we’ve seen the same story what happens in the end of those games

But they do get up for these matchups and they haven’t looked like out of place they haven’t looked like they can’t match up with these teams um unfortunately there are a couple that just they can’t get over the hump with but for the most part to be fair that is

True of a lot of teams where of really good teams still struggle with these guys or those guys because for whatever like Denver is a Denver’s tough match up for everyone struggles against why they are they happen to be the the Champions um but like the Lakers especially with

Jared vanderbild out are missing really important components and then you have obviously got joic and people can put a lot of pressure on you in the back court it’s it’s a it’s a sort of a similar model to what the Kings do it’s just that Denver’s better

Um so with that in mind like what matters more the fact that they can beat Milwaukee and Boston and uh you know Minnesota and Oklahoma City they really dominate Oklahoma City is that more important than the fact that they keep losing to like the Spurs and Houston and

Lousy teams around the league which matters more I mean theoretically yeah but also they have to beat those bad teams St for any of this to matter right cuz they’re what are they ninth maybe half yeah half game or game above Golden State who they play Saturday if they

Lose that then they’re kind of in trouble so I I mean we’ve seen like I said we’ve seen them be able to beat these teams but they also have to take the regular season a bit more seriously at this point I mean there’s not many

Games left if they want to even get in because at this point they they might be in the 910 round of the the playin and if they lose one game or whatever they’re out so um they have to take things more serious it be nice to move

This is I mean it would you lose the game on Dallas Dallas is three up in the Lost column now yeah after Wednesday’s games and the Lakers have to clear them they have to pass Dallas because Dallas has the tiebreaker um you know every one

Of these games sucks to like a road game against the Kings becomes this thing that you’re like Angry if you don’t win but you that’s this is the position they put themselves in exactly like they’ve they’ve chosen to kind of take the regular season lightly in preparation of

Getting guys healthy and for the most part you know LeBron and a have been healthy like they’ve really that’s they wanted to get those two guys to the Finish Line looks like they will hopefully knock on wood but the finish line for them is ninth or 10th and

They’re going to have to make a crazy run in the postseason and and hope everything clicks into place but at this point we need to kind of see more evidence of that being like a fact Lakers versus Thunder in the first round which is a thing that could totally a thing

That could happen yep um you know based on where both of these teams are does the the fact that the Lakers have really dominated that matchup aside from the one game they played on the road trip you know second night of back toback and caveat caveat caveat um who would does

That does the way they’ve played them make you think they could win that series or would would you expect form to hold based on seating I think it’s not so much well it is how they play them because that that gives us kind of some indication of how they match up right

But I think just a team like the Thunder is a team this Lakers roster is is matches up well against they they have a spacing five like the teams they struggle with like CM he can space it he can drag it de out the paint but what he

Can’t do is kind of he doesn’t have that lower center of gravity that a yit or sabonis has and we’ve seen ad have monster games against the Thunder um and I think they have enough to kind of throw at everyone else and I mean no

They don’t have a match up for Shay like no one does but they they are the Prototype of a team I think this Lakers they probably are circling for like if we can get them in the first round or something I think they feel confident in

Right and Minnesota is a team the Lakers have played pretty well all season long I just the reason I what makes this team I think so challenging for Lakers fans is it’s it’s like you know when the Westbrook season second Westbrook season open we’re like he if this happens

Nobody everybody really everybody knew what this was like maybe they’ll make the playoffs there’s a zero percent chance they’re going to do anything when they get there because this just not a not a team that makes any sense like you got to do a little bit of of wishful thinking and

You got to be a little bit willing to ignore certain signs and all that kind of stuff but that said you don’t have to work that hard you look at last year still LeBron and still ad you don’t have to work that hard to put yourself in a

Mental framework where the Lakers can do what they did last year if they can get out of the play in yeah it’s almost like the kid who doesn’t study for a test but gets an A and then that kind of sets like him on this road or he’s like I

Don’t have to study anymore you know I’m going have passed the test and I mean matchups wise I think outside of Denver even in Sacramento I’m sure they obviously there there are disadvantages and there are real weaknesses I think the Kings you know they they’ve they can expose with the Lakers that they’ve

Shown I I think they don’t want to face the Kings but I think if they do match up with think the Kings at a hypothetical series they’re another team I think they probably feel confident they could beat and for the most of the Western Conference I think if you put

Them you know game a lie detector they they probably are confident against except Denver which is like you said LeBron say I we can you know I think LeBron probably heart of hearts would be like I don’t know Denver but yeah and I mean I think they might be concerned

About a healthy Clippers team love that matchup with the Lakers but they seem to be getting unhealthy at exactly the wrong time yeah um like I do think you’re exactly right it’s a great Point like LeBron person I think personally be like there isn’t a team out there that I

Don’t think I can lead my team through um again possible exception of Denver um like that Swagger has got to mean something too and then what do you make of DLo uh in the playoffs like you know the the article MC Menan had out on Wednesday raised a lot of eyebrows

D’Angelo Russell if you haven’t had a chance to read it you definitely should we’re try to get Dave on actually before the end of the week and talk about it but DLo talking about like really wanting the uh the smoke in the playoffs this year I like what do you expect out

Of him because if he does if if you get 444 Point form DLo to go along with the Anthony Davis who’s a first team we’ve been playing at a first team all NBA level and play off LeBron like they actually can beat anybody that they play I mean that’s the thing that’s the

The question everyone has regarding DLo that’s a lot of concern about trading him not trading him was for the postseason right and and not the regular season we know what he’s capable of in the regular season and he’s you know very similar to the Lakers I think it

Depends on matchup I think in certain matchups I think he’ll be fine we saw him be a big positive contributor against Memphis against Golden State two really good Western Conference teams and he was on the floor he finished games and he run into he ran into a buzz saw

Against Denver but so did the entire Lakers team right so I think obviously he has limitations so do this does this Lakers team and I think it’s funny I think his limitations mirror the Lakers limitations and maybe that’s because he is counting on as the third fourth best

Player whatever you want to rank him as but um yeah I think it totally depends on matchup and hopefully what he experienced last year kind of Sparks something in him to kind of to to have a better showing this year yeah I mean the biggest difference obviously between

Last year and this year is last year they were the seven um and this year they’re not likely to be the seven they’re going to have to win twice to get into the main bracket most likely um he is Alex rega he does phenomenal work at Silver Screen en roll you can follow

Him at alexm rega on Twitter still not calling it X doing that um but like you know great stat breakdowns great use of video all kinds of stuff uh if I assume most people who are watching this show follow Alex but if you don’t you really

Should be uh thanks so much for coming on the show really appreciate thank you Brian we’ll uh see you next time lock on Lakers on YouTube is where you can go to hang out with over 23,000 subscribers um we will be back tomorrow get you ready for the weekends games uh

That Golden State one is huge so we’ll see everyone tomorrow

The Lakers were game for a half, in both effort and (general) execution. In the second half, at least one of those things stopped. The Lakers were held to 17 third quarter points, which allowed Sacramento to turn a reasonable four point lead at the half into a far more comfortable 15 point cushion heading into the final period.

The offense for LA really cratered as the game went along, scoring only 17 points in the third. Individual performances weren’t much to write home about. Austin Reaves was great early, scoring 11 of the team’s first 13 points. he finished with 28. Rui Hachimura had 20, on 9-11 from the floor (though a lot of that was front loaded into the opening half). But aside from that?

Well, D’Angelo Russell didn’t have a field goal until the fourth quarter (finishing with six points overall). The bench was again problematic, scoring only 13 points as a group, including a grand total of zero points from Spencer Dinwiddie, across 20 minutes of play. Anthony Davis was inefficient, and again outplayed by Sacramento’s Domantas Sabonis. LeBron James may have finished with 18/13/9, but was even less efficient than Davis, missing 10 of his shots.

With the loss, the Lakers fail to gain a game on Dallas, or put a little more room between themselves and the 10th place Warriors, who lost on Wednesday night, without Steph Curry in the lineup.

The Lakers aren’t going to win often when their stars are this inefficient. Not against decent teams, at least.

Plenty to unpack!

Austin had a good game shooting 10 for 17 including 7 of 12 3-pointers, only 1 turnover for 28 points in 37 minutes.

LeBron had 5 turnovers and shot only 6 for 16 including 2 of 8 3-pointers and only 66% from free throws.

DeLo had only 6 points in 33 minutes, shooting 2 of 9, including 1 for 4 from 3-pointers.

  2. The Lakers are the best team with generally better than average players. What does this mean? It means that exceptional talent at Center will show up (Denver) and exceptional talent at Guard (Fox) will show up. Reaves and DLo can't keep up with Fox. AD can't keep up with Jokic. On the same teams, but secondarily, Reaves and DLo can't keep up with Jamal Murray either, and AD can't handle Sabonis either. That's pretty much why the Lakers can't beat these two teams but are able to compete with any of the other teams. I really think the Lakers could win a series against basically any other teams in the league, but the exceptional play at certain positions will consistently keep the Lakers from beating the Nuggets and the Kings. The one chance they have is getting Vando back to help on defense.

  3. Great defense beats great offense. Sure AD had a great run of shooting during the bubble but his offensive limitations have always put a ceiling on his teams. He can’t just go “get a bucket”
Before this year he was one of the worst iso guys on high volume so it necessitates a team having to get offensive players who usually aren’t defensive stalwarts especially paying him and lebron so much when neither really impacts winning on a high level anymore

  4. feel bad for u guys, Like 3 o 4 shows ago you guys put AD n DLo over, then both AD n Dlo no showed today.

  5. I keep telling y'all AD is Gasol 2.0. He's a pretty boy and soft. It's the #1 reason I've stressed since the opening of free agency they need a big center because he's not it. All you have to do to beat AD is push him lol We aren't going nowhere this season. And with how our GM keeps building this team with point guards being his main picks maybe until he's fired. I think they cling to him because of Kobe

  6. As I predicted the Lakers will finish the season in 12th place in the west. Having lived in South Cal most of my 74 years, I have seen the Lakers go from a power house team to a below average team, maybe it's time for LeBron to retire

  7. Rui had the hot hand in the first half and only had one shot in the second half. Austin had a good game.
LeBron playing hero ball with 5 turnovers with poor three point shooting hurt us (he had the team's worst +/-).
Spencer needs to shoot and work with Taurean to lead the bench unit.

  8. There's no scheme when your Center can't gaurd the other teams Center (because when you double Barnes/Keagan is open) or if AD can't Dominate the opposing Center on offense smh.

  9. • DEN & SAC were built to Beat US (Points/Physically/Coaching/Mentally) and They did that in all 8 Regular Season Games this Year!!!
    • AD got Punked by Sabonis the Entire Game!!!
    • LBJ was Super Passive, Careless with the Ball in the 1st Half & Bad on Defense all Game!!!
    • Super Janky that D'Lo aired His issues about DHam to the Media in the Middle of a Playoff Push!!! And, even More Janky was He included Schroder in the Story!!! This was Dangerously close to Him telling on Nick Young!!!

  10. Damn htf is AD top 75 of all time 😅 Coach Ham needs to stop 🛑 putting AD on Joker/Sabonis ..haven’t we learned yet

  11. "We could, on any given night, beat any team in the NBA. And then, on any given night, we could get our a** kicked by any team in the NBA." The Kings and the Nuggets seem to disagree unfortunately 😫

  12. The only way We can get to that 7/8 Seed is by winning 5ish Straight Games so, that means We will be the 9/10 Seed which, also means We play DEN in The 1st Round if We make it out the Play-In bcuz DEN is not giving up that #1 Seed.

  13. We had a great opportunity with 2 days rest and Sacramento playing the night before , then 2 days rest and get GS without Steph , we had a great opportunity to gain ground and end the week 38-30 but of course we don't take advantage !! I'm real close to giving up on this season ! SMH

  14. Yes its alarming that the most we've won in a row is 4 ! I mean last years team pre trades and no AD won 5 in a row in January last year !

  15. If DLo and AD are sub par Lakers lose, and if the bench does not show up more so, their defense are always suspect because one does not play defense and the rest have to cover up and if the opposing team moves the ball well, they can score against the lakers. LBJ had a a real bad game and his scores are usually near the end when it is inconsequential.

  16. The Kings team have high ball IQ. Maybe think about that with your team since the "not that good" team has beaten the "oh so talented" team more often than not as of late…

  17. The problem is with Sabonis and Joker is the out physical AD. Lakers need a physical center to combat some of these problems. Dinwiddie is not a spot up shooter. Let him run the offense.

  18. AD straight up got owned by Sabonis last night. Bullied. Pushed around. Demoralized. AD played shook.

Reminds me of Gasol back in the day getting pushed around by KG. AD isn't as soft as Gasol, but last night definitely moved the needle in my opinion.

  19. I don't understand The Lakers it's not rocket science AD need a traditional big body center playing with him! That playing physical against Bigs has never been his game! It's not like he hasn't expressed this himself on several occasions. AD plays the best with Physical Bigs around him. You throw the brinks truck at him but don't fix that. Dwight Howard, Demarcus Cousins. JAVALE was available this is crazy they went after Dinwiddie 😂

  20. Bad coaching all the way around played AD and LeBron to the end of the third quarter no strategy to stop the opposition his matchups sucks he shows no energy our fight for his players even DLo after the game applauded Sacramento coach during his interview at the podium if that's not a Red flag then I don't know what kinda sign you need to make a coaching move this summer

  21. I saw a 🗑️ team please 🛑 saying they this grate when is not the whole game was 🗑️ and this is not fixable sabonis was not even guarding AD it was barns🤦🏻‍♂️ how is that not embarrassing

  22. Stop mentioning the wolves game because AD look grate because Kat and Gober where not playing so any big would’ve have a grate game so please AD is 🗑️ and overrated

  23. I just confused when u guys say they been good in this in that but what is really good in losing 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

  24. Jamesmurray, THE REASON THE LAKERS LOST THIS GAME IS HAS SIMPLE HAS—1+1- 2, THE KINGS IS A BETTER TEAM THAN THE LAKERS THEY HAVE BETTER TALENTED PLAYERS OUTSIDE OF AUSTIN REEVES THE LAKERS ROSTER IS A BUNCH OF INCONSISTENT DECENT PLAYERS AND THE LAKERS DON,T PLAY ( DEFENSE )

  25. The whole team is 🗑️ I’m just impressed how u guy give hipe to players they really don’t bring nothing

  26. LeBron is beyond lazy on defense and 6/16 last night and only 9 points thru 3 quarters…I just hate when they pile on AD when their other superstar didn’t do much to impact the game himself.

AD js the only legit defender this team even has right now, and the Kings know, and they just attack attack attack to mentally and physically wear him down.

  27. Ngl every time someone gets anywhere near AD on offence he grunts and falls over. Hasn’t figured out the soft whistles are gone and cannot handle when players do actually get physical with him. People have also figured his jumper is a good shot to let fly so they sag off him.

  28. How's the baby? Hope he's feeling better. His daddy Sabonis wanted to check while he's sweeping his office.

  29. How I wish the lakers played denver or kings without Ad and Bron. I think they might have a chance to beat these team. No hate to Bron but the offense is stagnant and predictable with the ball on his hand majority of the game.

  30. Unbelievable and people keep saying we have enough to compete smh the trade deadline fucked us i wont be surprised if we lose in the first round

  31. We should’ve signed a center instead of spencer when will front office realize AD cant play the 5
