Even though Lakers are a full game ahead of GS, Warriors currently own the tiebreak over Houston (due to head to head record) while Houston currently owns the tiebreak over LA (tied head to head so tiebreaker is conference record where Houston currently has the slightest edge).
Assuming Hou keeps the tiebreaker over LA, LA and GS are both effectively the same # of games above Houston. Hugely important games tonight, go Rockets!
