It’s pretty simple. If Embiid comes back then we’re making it through the play-ins period, if he doesn’t we’re boned anyway. Even if we slip to the 9-10, whoever is in the 8 (99% chance the bulls since hawks too far back) is not beating the Heat or Pacers and the Heat/Pacers are the only teams who could threaten us in a one game winner takes all. Having 8th for 2 chances would be nice and we have a decent chance at it since the Bulls are fucking awful but everything hinges on Embiid being healthy anyway so worrying is useless.
