    It feels different this year

    We’ve had dominant seasons, but even that championship run had an element of “is this real?” after looking so lost on the first half of the season.

    We’ve got stars all making sacrifices and role players looking like the perfect complement to the starters and the vibes couldn’t be better.

    If this ain’t the year it might never be lol

    I just hope it doesn’t come down to a finals game 7 against the Nuggets with a Tatum fade away 3 trying to win it.

    0-2 vs Denver
    0-1 vs Okc
    1-1 vs Timberwolves
    1-1 vs milwaukee
    1-1 vs clippers

    So basically, vs. the real postseason contenders, 3-6. They are a shoe in for the conference championship game but after that it is no walk in the park.

    But what about games against teams over .600 over the past 5 games within this calendar year while both teams have the same number and nature of injuries (i.e. if the opponent is down one starter the Celtics also have to be down one starter) and the Celtics shoot worse than 45% from three and the game is close (less than 5 point difference with less than 5 mins to go) and Joe Mazzulla must call at least one timeout in clutch time and played away from home against teams with good nightlife on days that start with T (Tuesday, Thursday)

    I think their record is a lowly 2-3. And so I ask – how will they beat the Nuggets if they can’t even go over 500?

    It ain’t gonna be easy guys, as fans we have to do better please

    Feel like I’ve been saying “this is the year” for like the past 5+ seasons at this point…but *surely* this time it will be??

    To know if this team is real, look out for…

    In playoffs they don’t unnecessarily drag the series and hopefully take care of business.

    This is the reason they were gassed when they played against the Warriors and eventually ran out of gas.

    Let’s see.
