I circled the M and thought it was hair with the blue basketball being a hat. The horse’s nose and eye were the two eyes. Underlined what I thought was the mouth. Circled the mane and thought it was a beard. I’m embarrassed how long it took me to realize it’s a fucking horse. I still see a face at times and I’m 26 now lol.

The more I look at this picture, the more I understand what you are talking about. Kind of looks like a face.
I see it. And the fact that our logo can be so easily be interpreted as a weird 00s style children’s cartoon character with a blue hat and grey beard is enough for us to need to rebrand lol.

So I don’t see it but I have a Mavs blanket with this logo. My 6 yr old said to me, “can you pass me the cowboys blanket.”
So I explained it was a Mavs blanket and the different logos. I said, “the Cowboys have a star, the Rangers are a T and the Mavs have horse.”
She said, “a horse?”, with the most confused face, “I thought it was a face”.
I had no idea how she saw a face lol. But thanks to this post I have a new found respect for kids and how they view the world.
