Psh he hasn’t made anyone any money in months

  2. The widespread acceptance of sports gambling is so gross. Why don’t we just have ads for other things just as addictive? Let’s have a new stadium, The Heroine Center. Or the instant replay, sponsored by meth. Maybe a nice cocaine ad on jerseys!

Athletes have always kinda been props anyways…. It’s an entertainment product after all and they’re the talent. But hating a dude because your parlay didn’t hit is somehow grosser than hating a dude because he missed a game winning shot or whatever

I’ve never placed a bet so to me your not a prop just a guy I yell at on tv while drunk. Nothing personal brother

I’m really hoping this recent uptick in sports betting pushback (e.g. this, the JB Bickerstaff commetns, and the Ohtani situation) are enough for the major sports commisioners to at least slow down roll-out of gambling promotion.

Though I fear this is another “lets wait til everyone forgets about this” issue.

The wide acceptance of sports betting all of a sudden is ridiculous

No coincidence that the state manufacturing so much of this addictive shit has been one of the most hesitant to legalize it.
