Kyle Anderson: Going Pro, First NBA Purchase, Friendships, and Giving Back | Breakthrough Ep. 3
I realized I had what it takes to go pro in the sixth grade when I went to a a Nationals tournament and was one of the best players there moment of my career I’m most proud of still to this day is winning my first state championship my junior year
Beating one of the best teams in the country at the time and going ahead to win the New Jersey TLC I something I remember forever my dad was someone that helped me realize my potential he never really let me know how good I was till Junior
And Senior year high school but just was someone that always pushed me and encouraged me to keep working and stayed in the gym with Me I knew I could support my family and earn a living playing this game when I was about 14 or 15 years old that’s when uh you know things just started to make sense for me really and I knew I could do something special financially you
Know take the reign of helping my family out and you know being their support system with the 30th pick the San Antonio first select Kyle Anderson from UCLA my first big paycheck I went and bought my grandmother’s house down in cap M New Jersey and uh you know had to
Buy that for the family I use my wealth to support the community just by being present in my community giving back you know helping out passing out turkeys on Thanksgiving but most importantly just being present you know allowing the kids to see my face and allowing them to see
That if I could do it they could do it as well in 10 years when I look back in my career mostly I would like to accomplish is just making good relationships and friendships with my teammates honestly you know something that we can always
Look back on and share a good meal and a laugh over it and uh you know I think that’s what you know I would remember the most

Kyle's got one of the highest IQ's in the game rn
One of the most underrated players in basketball. What he does handling the ball, organizing the offense and playing defense is so important to the team.
Slo Mo is not flashy, at the NBA level he is not considered a good shooter, and he looks awkward out there 90% of the time. But this dude has changed the Wolves mentality to that of a winner. He is a key piece that unlocks team potential.
Kyle you are your father’s carbon copy.
